Watching this so many years later is so awesome. Mike Mo was always my favorite skater growing up and I met him twice, 1st time at a skate demo at my local skateshop and the 2nd time at Tico's Tacos. My friends and I totally interrupted him while he was eating but he was so cool about it and asked if we each wanted to take pictures with him. Of course we did. He left before we left and said it was nice meeting us before he walked out the door. Such a cool dude. A great memory I'll always have. Thank you Mike Mo.

The way he's talking about his story, about rails, about that accident, about skating flatground only, about improving it - these things inspire me to do the same, to skate flatground and make it look easy and stylish :) some kind of underground
so you cant respect him because he chooses not to skate rails? that's a ridiculous reason you do realized the reason nyjah will skate rails witha broken wrist is because he didnt break his wrist on his FIRST handrail, so thee psychological barrier isnt as strong because he knows he can do it because he has done it before, mike mo tried 1 handrail and broke his wrist, thats enough to scare anyone, expecially when it's the first time you build up the confidence do do it and then you break a bone
His ender in fully flaired still gives me goosebumps. That whole part is legit skating though. Nahh, that hole movie. Mike mo is one of a kind, to say the least.

Yeah, you could say that it's an irrational fear to be afraid of something like that, but irrational or not, he still faced it in the end. Speaking as a psychologist, it takes much more bravery to take on something you know you're afraid of than just doing it plain and simple. If anything you should respect him more.
i like mike mo bcuz he can do rly nice and insane tricks but he also does tricks tht beginers can do like shuv its and bug spins and 180s n stuff and with most skaters, u see them doing there best tricks and showing off
its actually a laser underflip, back foot lasers are kinda ugly because you have to use the heel of your backfoot to scoop and flick the board, laser underflips are way more stylish
sometimes i think about quiting skating because in cyprus there is nowhere to skate. no skate parks etc and am the only one from my friends that skate..

I think skateboarding is totally not about contests and thing like that...I respect mikemo, don't forget that he changed the approaching to tricks with his part in fully flared...that's' the kind of thing I look at! anyway is just to do it like you want and you feel...does'nt matter if u like handrails, gaps, flatground or other and other, jusy fun! However mikmo is the king of smoothness!!!

I used to skate rails and stairs but i broke both of my ankles ....and for a lot of time I wasn't skating anymore....but today I went out with my friends and skated a little all I could do where some heelflips flips , fakie heel , tre shovits , bispins .... but I'm feeling like coming back . anyway , I'm still scared of big stairs and rails
i would say yes its a late lazer flip cuz it flips and rotates like one but his back foot does an underflip and his front foot rotates it but nonetheless its still fucking badass
yeah either that, or it is because i live in Sweden, in a town called Västerås with NO skateparks or spots. It is kinda sad though, i remember all the dreams i had :/ oh well..

Same pretty much. It seems like most times I hurt myself, it's because I'm either doing something dumb, or I'm kind of half-assing a trick. If I actually try for real, I don't hurt myself nearly as easily. But that's partly so because I don't skate anything too gnarly these days, and because I haven't had access to spots like handrails, where I could potentially wreck myself.
in my opinion, i think people should skate everything. including handrails. even if they are skate park rails. it makes you a better skater. plus mike mo skates handrails now. he just doesnt skate super big ones.

the handrails rails and ramps are skateboarding ..thoes crazy flatground tricks are fun .. but the handrails are BUISSNESS
