Yes, one way to give them more credit is to use the term "backup" dancer, instead of background. Or "supportive" dancers. They're not simply there to create a background but support the overall art that is being created by the artist.

The thing i like about them is they always do their best even tho it's just a dance practice.
Haha yes. And I think they enjoy these type of videos more out of everything else because they are dancers themselves and they appreciate and see every move being made in the choreographies. It's very rare among reactors. Which is why I love their chanel so much.
Dance practices are like dress rehearsals...how you perform there is how you'll perform for the actual performance. I used to have coaches in sports too that wouldn't let us slack off in practice because it was "practice". They'd say, how we were at practice was how we'd be at the game, so we always treated our practices like the real thing

Jimin performing in slides... I'd have yeeted one of them into the face of the camera crew or one of the back up dancers would have lost an eye. I swear Jimin forever baffles me. The amount of body control and poise he has when dancing is such a contrast to his struggle with gravity every other second of the day 😅
I love Blaze’s comments about Jimin and JK’s part, where Jimin gets lifted. He totally got the vulnerability and strength of it and it made me so happy to hear someone talk about that. Thank you guys!

That Black Swan choreography where the line of dancers part to the sides to reveal JK is one of my favorite moments from their performances, the artistry! Like you say, all the hard work from the collective, the team behind them and BTS's talent, amazing always 💜

Dance practices are everything. The dancers are so talented and they really make BTS shine. I still cannot get over how amazing the Black Swan performance was. It is true art. The ON intro is so precise and intricate, so amazing. Love you guys! 💜

Im so grateful for these practices they upload for us because it truly does give us a detailed look at the choreography. The shows themselves are always breathtaking but its easy to miss little things because the camera directors are trying to give each member focus time within a performance which I'm also very grateful for. BTS and crew really spoil us 😌

Love love Blaze for saying that. One of my absolute favorite things in the world (and one of the reasons I love BTS) is seeing men care for other men. My relationships with my female friends are some of the most important in my life and I only hope all men can feel that kind of platonic love and support.
That particular Black Swan performance will always be my favorite. Seeing the practice just solidifies that.
Absolutely love Blaze's take on the Black Swan lift. I was still feeling it with a romantic vibe, but I love the interpretation as brothers lifting each other up, too. One of the best things about BTS is the love and care they have for each other.

I love how you guys elevate the importance of the static camera for dance practice archival footage! You can see and appreciate what is really happening in terms of shapes, technique and formations when there is no distracting camera cuts. And I agree that this reveals that a lot more was going on regarding the NO dancer break that was not visible during the streamed concert.
What struck me was how much more j-hope and Jungkook and V moments had in the break. The only thing I remember from the concert was the 360 backwards turn that j-hope and Jungkook perform (and that j-hope does it keeping his pelvis in the air). But all three of them jumping over the flag bearers was really impressive in terms of timing and strength. And the speed and finish of j-hope's popping and hits during his center solo (which I didn't even know he had!) was hearstopping. The number of poses he can hit that cleanly along with the extreme turn-out and torque of his torso is amazing.
We're being spoiled by BTS & Big Hit. We're loving it tho 👀

Obviously what Lil Nas X is doing is very sexual and that's great but what BTS does with this performance is show that men dancing together can be beautiful and graceful and tell a different story than the obvious. Friendship and brotherhood, loyalty. The story of BTS, really.

Black Swan looks different without all the back round and costumes. You can really see everything that happens. Love it.
The amount of true appreciation and respect you have for them is really wonderful and REAL. I always think the dance practices allow us to see all the details we miss! They are more like dance performances practices!
Idk if you guys recognized the N.O intro choreo, but it's the performance they did to the Limp Bizkit remix from 2015 in those white marine outfits (intro performance trailer was the name of the video with 3 camera angles)! I think y'all watched that 🤔

Our boys are known for their mass performances and tight choreographies. They always gave their all even if it's just a dance practice. I am so proud! Salute to Bangtan! 😍💜
The reason Blaze did not remember is because for the concert, the camera zoomed in and out so it looked very different from here where it is recorded from a static camera. And I'd prefer if we call the background dancers as just dancers. They arent in the background or simply filling up space, they are an integral part of the performance, highy trained contemporary dancers, lets give them the right kind of nod :)

When I was watching, the background dancers definitely caught my attention especially in black swan cause that style is my favorite(even though I not so good at it). Never disregard them they are apart of the Art too. They are there for a reason :)
During N.O. if Jin wasn’t dressed all in bright coral I wouldn’t have noticed him - and I mean that in the best possible way. His dance skills and swagger are on par! OT7 💜
The really awesome thing that blew my mind about the NO intro was that the first few moves up until the salute are from their Intro Performance from 2014!!! They took those moves and then elaborated on them for the ON:E perfomance, which is really cool~

Even the background dancers are so insanely talented as well. Like I enjoy watching the background dancers and BTS. Often times I feel like I’m about to go cross eyed though because so much does happen! But that’s not a bad thing! 💜 I love all of their performances! 💜
One thing I noticed after watching the dance practice for Black swan and that I failed to notice during the mma perf was that the members actually stay mingled within the bg dancers after dancing their parts until they reunite together at the last part, like if you keep your eyes on namjin you see they follow the bg dancers back and the same thing for vhope. Only jikook I think leave after their parts. It was so subtle that I had to watch over and over to notice that. That's why we love dance practice so much. There are actually so many details to be pointed out and that just shows how bts and the bg dancers too, shout out to them for their amazing talent, are so precise and ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND MIND BLOWING! 💯

My GOD watching this live on the concert was truly mesmerizing 😵 it was like 3 am and everyone was asleep and I was legit screaming into a pillow 🤣 I had to go to work the next day and I stayed up all night but it was SO worth it!!!

If you might recall, that beginning of this N.O. choreo, from 1:15 to 1:35, is the same exact choreo they did for their Navy Intro performance video from 2015. You reacted to that awhile ago & that also blew your minds, especially the gun turret formation.
I'm glad this was released by BigHit ( Hybe😭) and get a clearer view of Hobi and Tae's part in *Black Swan* . It was awesome! Also Hobi nailed the choreography in *NO* . He looks so effortless with those fast hand movements and footwork like it's nothing. 😫
