    Nice job. I'm a long time native plant addict, and I try to encourage everyone to try using them. Keep up the good work. : ) (But just say no to landscape fabric. It causes more problems than solutions long term. Just my opinion.)

      Thanks, you too! Yes, one thing I have been learning is that when it comes to planting with natives and trying to convert from conventional lawn to wildlife habitat, it is a long and slow journey, with ups and downs and lessons learned. I did try the cardboard first to smother the grass but we had some really persistent weeds that were taking over and that section was in the front yard so I couldn't let it get too "wild" looking LOL.
      Hopefully, in the long run, I can build up soil health, biodiversity, and reduce plastic/artificial materials as much as possible. Thanks for the encouragement! It's what I need to hear today :)
