I love your garden zones! Can't wait to see what native plants you choose! I think this will be a fun series to follow. Thanks for sharing.

So nice of you! I am currently pouring over my Prairie Moon Nursery catalog. I've been saving up for big seed / plant purchases this year so I am excited to finally have the change to bring in some natives to enhance the wildlife habitat in my yard. More on this soon! I'm hoping to share my seed / plant shopping in the next few weeks. Stay tuned :)

I have been using graph paper and tracing paper for overlays and colored pencils. It's lasted me several years. Today I'm gonna try Pinterest and Canva :)
I do like the raised garden design you picked.
For us, shade was an important part of the kid zone. We invested mainly in a sandbox.
    Will be watching :)

I am normally a magazine and poster type of vision board planner but I thought this would be fun because I can go back to it and add to it as the year goes on so far I really enjoying the digital set up.
We’ll see how difficult it will be to pull together this garden design. I was also thinking if I can’t remove the tree stump this year maybe I start building around it first

@@reynaandtheworld Yes you can get the tree stump out! - with a sharp shovel and a hatchet/axe for the larger roots. I also borrowed a reciprocating saw and bought the owner a $10 blade - but I had several stumps to get out. Every morning I'd do about 10-15 minutes digging out the stumps. Watch out, it's kind of zen and addicting for some reason... lol.

Oh, thank you for mentioning shade! I will certainly look into some shade options for the kid zone. I did not think of that but it's certainly important.
