A suggestion for future planning when only having the current month’s calendar in your planner is by utilizing the perpetual calendar that is in the front section of the Happy Planners. I find this to be very helpful in providing a year at a glance to note items or events. When changing out each month, just reference the perpetual calendar and update the current month as needed.

Who else thought this was a video about making small planners work? 🙋‍♀️🤦‍♀️
And I know you and watch your stuff frequently and I know you have a planner that is both a large spread and also chunky, and I should have twigged that you stay in your own lane about this. But I didn't. Still had some good tips, just not the video I was expecting 🤦‍♀️

Sorry if I've missed it Alaina but have you done a video on using your home planner to schedule and track occasional or seasonal household tasks? I'm making progress with my weekly cleaning routine but am really bad at letting less regular tasks stack up so I've decided to make this a goal for 2021. I'm thinking of creating a list for my planner with all the annual, quarterly, monthly tasks and then spreading them through the year so they don't all fall within the same month. I'm going to try and schedule any supplies I need to purchase or services I need to book (and budget for them!). Any tips you have would be a really appreciated 🙂

Hey!! I don't think I have a full video talking about the occasional tasks, just the regular ones. I'll add it to my list to film.

You could try alternating one task every week or so? Like if the task needs to be done about once a month, you could do one of them on week one, one on week two, etc. that way they’re always done about once a month or so, but you’re not overwhelmed by having to cram them all into one or two weeks.
