Red River Retirement: Master Angler Channel Catfish (Red River at Lockport, Manitoba)

A short film to commemorate the retirement gift--a guided trip for world-class channel catfish on the Red River--given to me by my fellow Artillery soldiers upon my retirement from the Army Reserve in 2019. After several pandemic-related postponements and high water level issues, my loving wife Christy and her dad were able to join me.
We absolutely CrUsH some huge fish! There are bigger fish out there, but it was amazing to handle the calibre of cats in this fishery!
Cut bait goldeye and 5oz slip weights were the answer that day as the fish did not transition to frogs just yet.

That was an awsome day with my son in law and daughter she out fish us so l gave her the name Catfish mama. Thanks to you to both i shall remember this day for ever. Thank you for your service.
