Steve, as a ardent fan that has watched you for over a decade, you surely didn't deserve the curve ball that was thrown at you. Yes your new house and kitchen was outstanding. Still my fondest memories and what drew me to your site was the intimacy of your old kitchen and the dishes you made there. Sometimes fate and unexpected change re-define our lives. I am confident that you will lead your family and fans into the next chapter of Steve's cooking. Godspeed to you, and looking forward to more great cooking episodes!

I gasped when I read the title! I can't believe you have to move again...! We all loved your last kitchen, but I agree that this house feels a lot cozier and being surrounded by nature is the best! I'm excited to see how the new kitchen will turn out. Despite all the stress, you're looking great! Maybe your inner chef thrives in chaos? 😆
By the way, do you still work as a chef? How do you manage your energy/time with the move and all the renovations?

I'm just moving to a newer apt. and going crazy . . . so I feel for you! But you will have fun designing a new kitchen. Snakes are more afraid of you; it's good to tramp around, so they feel uncomfortable and leave. I've lived in the same rural area for over 15 years. New place in like you condo--no wildlife. Lots of "rules." My cat will hate it. Oh, well . . . change and adjustments go hand-in-hand. You will be happier with bigger yard, smaller house. Don't overdo it in this heat!
