Very smart. The best capillary irrigation I have seen. The flexible reduce the evaporation. The bottle can be filled by the bottleneck very useful. I think you can improve it by adding a funnel made by another inverse bottle head you cut the neck vertically to shape a cone you can put in the bottleneck of your bottle or you can cut another plastic side bottle to shape a cone you keep with scotch tape.

I have been thinking about wick watering and I like your ideas. I’m trying to find a way to avoid using plastic with PBA in it but it’s hard to find at a low price.
During mild weather it's sufficient as-is. This local area gets severe dry heat waves in midsummer, so thirsty plants such as tomatoes need supplemental watering then.
Very helpful ! Thank you! I love that little table you have. Where can I get one of those ?

Would love to see a photo of that if you'll put the idea through a test run.

Does the soil below the rope get moisture or does it need additional watering
