I'm surprised you didn't mention that Ramble is Creed Aventus inspired, Kiawah by Acqua Di Gio and Mahana giving me strong CK One meets Mugler Cologne vibes. I am thoroughly enjoying their complete Extrait sample back. Cloudland and Lost Man are terrific, lasts all day and Palmetto is exactly like Terre D'Hermes on steroids. Great house!
@alleesutton it smells terrific, BUT it immediately reminded me of Parfums De Marly Herod and then dries to something similar to Mindgames Double Attack or Navitus Parfums Raised Spirits. F&R started as a true niche avant garde house but is now moving into a more accessible streamlined brand for sake of sales which is why they are starting to make recognizable scents. The Extrait idea is amazing but that isn't anything new either. They do last all day. Today I threw on Highway 190 which does a BR540 meets PDM Galloway with a bit of a Savauge EDP drydown. I've learned and spent and a good bit in 5 years I would say lol
@@nicktoth3994 I agree. I think it has great longevity and I get a lot of compliments. I don't have a ton of designer fragrances in my collection, but am starting to collect samples as I can to help me learn! What has been the most helpful for you in learning about fragrance?
@alleesutton I started by following many of the UA-cam channels to gather info and ideas very quickly. Most of it was just trying different things and keeping an open mind. My favorite fragrance on planet earth is Creed Aventus. That, singlehandedly, opened up the sky for me and ignited my passion for collecting over the last 5 years. Right before smelling Aventus, I purchase Sterling in a solid from F&R. I spot checked them to see what was going on and saw they switched to liquid so I am ripping through their samples while wearing Aventus at night which is my signature scent.
