Massive vessel deployment in Scarborough Shoal betrays a scared China, says Philippines

- Over 46 Chinese government vessels have been deployed to the vicinity of Panatag Shoal or Scarborough Shoal, a feature just 120 nautical miles off the coast of Zambales in the West Philippine Sea. At least 19 of those vessels were in the immediate vicinity of the shoal, traditional fishing grounds for several countries and a flashpoint for Philippine-China tensions. Story: bit.ly/3wsIeil
