- A lovely renovated French chateau. It's a bit poky and there are secrets in the attic, but I'm sure the Friends will have a relaxing weekend there. Just chilling out in the sunroom and soaking in the clawfoot tub. Don't mind the resident ghost (jks there aren't any.....yet).
If you've just dropped by, I'm Ellie! Lego is an artistic medium and no matter your building expertise there is something here for everyone. Stick around and I'll build for you while I review new sets and create my own customs (MOCs). I tend to geek out about new pieces, get excited about learning new and interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. I'm easily distracted so things can get a bit hectic, but I'm sure you're down for that.

What I like the most about this set is that it's blue and white because blue is my favorite color

I think Zac is canonically French. He was talking in French in season 2, so maybe it’s not that far off that they’re in Paris?

What a nice set - I love the lines, the designers really did a fantastic job. Can’t pick any one feature, it’s all cohesive and at the same time you can tell it’s been renovated by an old lady with the styling. And what would a mature French woman call her doggo 🤔 I mean, that picture IS Snowy so maybe Milou? Apparently that’s Tintin’s dog’s name in French translations.
The coldest I’ve ever been in my LIFE was in France (Paris actually) so if I have one suggestion for expansion it’s fireplaces! In every room 😂 perfect for ghosts to possess.

Already had this box! Love this set! So amazing it being 12+ but didnt feel so much 12+ AND LOVE IT. Loved the small rooms and french designs.

@@ButteredBread201Yes, which is why none of the Friends characters can access it, unless one of them is the best of friends with Emily (my headcanon for Elves is that Emily lives in suburban Heartlake City or a town just outside HLC when she's not in Elvendale)

Hey Ellie! Back in the '70's I used to take out children's books about a Scottie named Angus. In fact, my very first doggo (from 3yrs to 11yrs) was named Angus. 😢 By the way, White Scotties are very rare and EXTREMELY expensive IRL. I like the new character's lopsided hairstyle (it comes with messaging, and I heartily approve!) I'll buy it just for the Doggo, but I need many pieces also. Another beautiful build, and your nails are Oscar Ceremony worthy!💕 (addendum: the rubber duckie and the toilet roll mean that I will buy 2 of this set!)

This set is so good, but yeah its shame the rooms are so small... I would personaly do not add all these carpet details, and make rooms 2-3 studs wider

Great video Ellie, i love this set, i just bought it yesterday and build it and i really like it. It would look great next to the botanical gardens. Also lego changed Aliya's hairpiece, you're not wrong, i noticed it when i build her. It a bit different in the inside from the 2023 one

I'm so glad you built this so early out of the first out of the new sets, I must admit it's my favourite. It's simply so lovely with all the blue and beige, all muted colours. I was instantly reminded of the Botanical Gardens as well. Once again, I think this building is definitely something Aziraphale would love 😂 and when I think about it, Olly kind of reminds me of him. Also, Renée's pants would be suitable for Aziraphale minidoll. Can't wait for what you build next! ~Wavey ;)

I already have this set at home but I will be able to build it when school is over(26th June) because it is my reward for surviving the hell called the school year(I will be 22 this year and I am studying to be a gardener now (before that I finished my studies to be an electrician)(and just to be clear I am a guy)
I wish this set wasn’t just for older builders.
The instructions on the Builder app let you see the build from all different directions, it’d definitely be able to be built by younger builders 😘
