- Join me for a winter carp session from my own back garden on the River Lot SW France. Below freezing conditions, thick freezing fog but still managed to catch some glorious carp from the challenging river 👌🏻🎣

Cracking video jim.lovely river a bit more productive than my winter river arun in sussex had 2 carp in 2 winters but as I always have the river to myself I enjoy every minute.

❤ the video Jim. It doesn’t seem like a busy stretch. Looking down river at 12:50 -13:40mins there’s only 1 boat moored, yours. Where do you get your maize and how much?

Do you not find the need to bait upstream slightly Jim?? It’s been a few years since I was out there on the Seine and the Loire. But that’s what we used to do back then 🤔
All depends on the flow..I was fishing the margins well away from the main flow so there was no need. I mainly put a decent spread of bait out too 👍🏻🎣
