Thank you for interviewing the great Steve Rothery. The guy is a guitar maestro who absolutely should be spoken of in the same breath as Gilmour and Hackett. So melodic. So emotional. And so humble ... his playing always serves the song rather than his ego.

Wonderful interview, thanks for this. Marillion's such a great band, and what a lovely guy Steve is. Also, nice to see he has The Lady of Shalott hanging up on his wall, I love that painting!

Steve is probably the most underrated guitar presently breathing on planet earth.....and taught himself! Also - Marillion is arguably one of the most underrated bands in the history or rock music.

Hi John. Hi Steve. I am a massive Marillìion fan. Saw them with Fish and saw them for the Fear tour. Cannot wait for this magnum opus to come out. This band has been the soundtrack to my life

Well how cool is this? One of my Top 5 all-time fave guitarists talking to one of the best interviewers. Rothers is always a great interview, and Marillion is probably the most underappreciated band in rock history. I could watch this sort of thing for hours (particularly the equipment side of things, like his fave guitars, and also the composition process). Maybe you could get H and the other lads to chime in too after the album comes out (?). H's politics drive me crazy, but I know he means well and his heart is in the right place. As we all get older, we really need to appreciate every minute we have with these talented artists and every new album they give us. Nice work as usual, John.

Steve and the rest of the band are fantastic. Saw them late 2021 and they were brilliant 👏 👌

Thankyou for doing this interview!! This band deserves any great press and exposer offered to them. On one hand, as a life time fan
you feel like it's a family but on the other hand you tend to wish more people can experience and appreciate what they bring to the
world especially the state of things now.

...One of the tightest/"smoothest" guitarists I've seen live (Seasons End tour). He was/is right up there with his idols.
In addition to friendship, I'm confident Steve Hackett has a mutual respect for Steve Rothery as a guitarist.
