Golovkin should have won that first fight. He’s faded a bit because he’s 40 now.
I remember having 7:5 and 6:6 for Golovkin the first time I saw both fights.
I rewatched them recently and now I think Canelo has done enough to win a 7:5 decision, while the first one was 8:4, 7:5 for Golovkin.
The second fight was more fun though.
I seen canelo outclassed him in the first just got tired in the middle rounds then closed the show

@Jorge Torres he wasn't just pressing forward, he was landing a lot of punches, much more than Canelo. They both landed about the same amount of power shots, but GGG landed a lot of quality jabs too
His best highlight in the first fight was taking a big canelo right 😂 all the media and fans went in thinking he was going to ko the diva canelo and all he did was throw shabby arm shots. One of the most overrated fighters ever this bumlovkin bloke

But, being that Bivol is a master at controlling range... I would pick Bivol over Beterbiev.

The 1st Fight was No Draw.. GGG Def won the 1st One.. just like the real Score of Canelo vs Bivol was Def not 115-113 way more like 117-111 (at best)
I absolutely love the potential matchup between Bivol and Beterbiev. I really hope boxing politics don’t kill the hard core fans of that fight and it can get made in the second half of this year after Beterbiev smashes Joe Smith Jr

i doubt that. Benavidez who has spared both of them has mentioned on countless occasions GGG is the better fighter. Power & skills. G is a once in a generational type of fighter and if you follow boxing and unbiased, he is close canditate for GOAT of boxing.
@@marssmith1278 bivol is a far better technician then ggg. Far bigger and stronger. He made easy work of canelo whereas ggg had problems. He’s abandoned that soviet style footwork and is no flat footed. Bivol would pick him apart and take his best shots. Besides ggg is like 40 now so not even fair.
