7:47 Bishop has 2 BR55s, one in his hand the other on his back, and it looks kind of like cable is holding a spartan laser, but i can't tell exactly what that is supposed to be.

I would be completely okay with the characters from the Fox X-men movies doing it, but honestly that idris Elba guy would be 1000x better. Him and Josh brolin would probably make a perfect movie. The kind of super hero movie that non super hero fans go watch in theaters.

At 8:17 cable is using the magnum pistol and bishop is using the smg from halo 2. Cable also has the halo rocket launcher on his back. This whole issue is filled to the brim with halo guns lol

Not bad but kind of mid. The duo for HoX/PoX on the other hand...
Mixing bishops power or powers like his with either cyclops, nightcrawler, or magik would result in a mutant with almost infinite energy absorption because the energy that the body couldn’t contain would simply transfer to the dimension their power comes from. Cyclops would be the most straightforward. Nightcrawler would have to teleport to transfer the energy. And magik has complete dominion over limbo and also access to magic, so she could transfer the energy in any way she wanted.
To everyone asking about The Dominion, while it hasn't been explained yet it was mentioned at the end of Sins of Sinister when Sinister tries to ascend into his Dominion only to find out someone else beat him to it and booted him back

@@kazzyrazz3241 Nope. The first thing is that we know that the sector of space that is governed by a dominion and contains earth includes 12 titans acting in unison. That's in Hickman's notes in HoX/PoX if I am not mistaken. We don't really know if MR is dominion, we only know that she sent into back in Sins of Sinister to try to achieve dominion status. Cable isn't even close to a candidate given his overt attempts at stopping the Gala massacre and failing. It's too dirty. Now, the "arranging events like flowers" is a really really good clue that it's a Krakoa mutant. It's my guess that it's Doug/Krakoa who have achieved dominion status. That jives with Doug being taken into Krakoa before the Fall (Krakoa knew), and the flowers reference. The other really good competing theory is that it's an Orchis dominion, as taken from the timeline map that Destiny provided. Basically, we need more details to understand if Destiny is calculating probabilities in a "prime" time or if she's seeing alternate timelines that have already happened. If it's the later, it's Orchis, and this gets dark.

This reminds me of that really cool episode of the animated X-men series when Bishop and Cable fought each other. Bishopnabsorbing energy blasts, Cable bodysliding. Amazing action scene.

I'm digging this run so much. Going back to the X-Men animated series, I've always wanted Cable and Bishop to team up and wreak untold amounts of havoc. Two really powerful time traveling badass dudes who take little crap off anyone would've been one hell of a limit run animated series or standalone episodes within the X-Men animated series.
Would have been, and currently has a chance of coming into fruition IF those involved with the new X-Men ‘97 series decide to make it happen. Currently they are just starting to record all the voice overs for the second season and will be getting to work on the animation soon as those are finished. Likely too late now for a second season to get a multi-part story written and added into their current storyboards for season 2, but there is at least a chance that the writers are inspired by this book and create a Cable-Bishop buddy cop arc for season 3.. That is to say IF x-Men ‘97 turns out to be a success. If it tanks, they aren’t so far along with season 2 that they can’t just pull the plug and halt the remainder of work left for season 2, so it’s not really a guarantee that we will even get a season 2 at this particular point in time. I really hope it succeeds and will be watching from day 1
@@kidwajagstang Oh wow. Everything you laid out gives me some hope it will happen, then we all can turn into kids again watching our favorite characters. I wish a potential Cable, Bishop team up series wasn't relying on the success of X-Men 97' but what can you do right.

Cable + Bishop is the combo we need.
This is actually great. Turning the two ultra-powerful bad guy factions on each other was pretty much the best move in this situation, and the fact that it was pulled off by just two really resourceful and crafty guys makes it even better.
Theres a few buddy cop-like stories they could do. Definitely Bishop/Cable. The one i want to see is Chamber and Synch. The former co-captains of Generation X. 2 good guys. Ones a bit strictly about Order. The other, very neutral because hes seen where order and chaos can take people and things.
As always thanks u for the great content Rob! Especially when it comes to X-Men related events/topics. Cable got the better gun n it’s dope to see Marvel giving Cable his due

Finally I was trying to figure out how the children were gonna get taken off the board and it's nice to see Serafina actually terrified of a mutant because they were too OP for quite sometime
She wasn't, in fact in feat is explicitly about the Dominion. Rob missed this.

Really surprise that Rob didn't pick up that Orcihis troops armed with the old MA5B assault rifles from Halo.
I'd go with Cable's. But I would bet they're both equally "powerful." They just use that power in different ways. Kinda like how a shotgun differs from a regular rifle.
I think concentrating so much power into one precise location's a lot better. It being a pulse weapon implies (to me) that it's energy source is also more stable than a *hot fusion* source.
If I had to guess, Cable's weapon runs off cold fusion, while Bishop's is stated as a star, so obviously hot. Judging by their appearances, Bishop's seems to be modeled off the FS-2000, and Cable's looks more like a gauss rifle.
Bishop was tracking two mutants way beyond him in powers, he just matched in skills and determination as a survivor. The Summers family hit the jackpots of high-level mutant abilities that never faze out at the top.

What if they do something, like someone sabotages the whole of Orchis in order to make humanity distrust them by like uploading Ultron into the system, and Ultron takes over all of the Centinals and everything that Orchis has and he upgrades them and the Avengers and Mutants have to fight and Ultron invasion of Ultron upgraded Centinals and and bases, and maybe Ultron takes over the cities of the Children of Tomorrow and uses their resources to become more powerful. After that, humanity doesn't have as much trust in Orchis if it can be turned on them like that.
I actually hope that that happens.
Yeah ngl ultron seems like a prime candidate to appear my only concern is that one child of the vault who can control technology.
Then the problem of if ultron actually integrates into the children of the vault tech it should be game over for the most part.

As well as it would be amazing for the Avengers and the Mutants and even The Children of Tomorrow to team up and fight an Ultron invasion on Earth, Mars, Krakoa, and those places, and Ultron assimilating other forms of technology into him to become more powerful, like the technology of The Children of Tomorrow and also the Krakoan technology like he makes a bio-technological based body for himself with Karkoan technology and he can implant seeds in places to grow into another version of him if he is ever defeated so that he could come back. I actually think that all of that stuff would be awesome!!!!!
Bishop is my all time favorite X-Men/Mutant/Comic book superhero/ marvel character. Absorbing energy and channeling it has always been my favorite super power.

I’m pretty sure by “dominion” she means the sinister that formed that great mysterious dominion from sins of sinister and current mutant mister sinister freaked out once he found out someone beat him to it

I love this kind of moments, when technically Orchis is right. This kind of power is a thread of humanity, but Orchis miss the forest for the trees.
Originally Orchis was against the X-men team + few other mutant teams all others where civilians, now mutants don't hold back. And unintentionally Orchis created second Arakko and who knows what will come back after Satan trials in White hot room.
I've always wanted a comic book series with Bishop and Cable. I hope they push this hard. Dreams may come true.
