Great Video and what an Amazing Display by this Aircraft. Really well Captured. Makes me wonder if I think it's Lockheed that have gone into a somewhat Partnership with Airbus on a Project of types if they ever Conceivably thought of Approaching the U.S. Air Force along the lines of a Future Airlifter for them, Given the fact I think they have gone as far as they can being actually Lockheed with the Mighty C130 Hercules and it might just make for an unlikely event that just might happen. Imagine a Gunship version of the A400, That would be mind blowing. Once again Great Video and Thanks. Regards
I have already Submitted some comments on this Aircraft but I believe that their has been some Negative reactions to the Aircraft itself mainly in light of the R.A.F. Retirement of the C130 Hercules. I don't think they would have retired the Hercules Aircraft if they had any Doubts over the A400 Atlas. As I mentioned I believe Lockheed Martin may have entered into a joint project of sorts with Airbus Industrie on a Military Scale and as Lockheed Martin are the builders of the C130 Hercules I wonder if they may Think ahead a little bit in terms of the Eventual Cessation of C130 Hercules Aircraft production at least in a large Military Trend of Orders as I believe I said that I think Lockheed Martin have gone just about Full Circle with the the C130 Hercules and maybe we might just see something that nobody would envisage and thats a possibility of a Merge on at least the Military Airlift Front with Airbus Industrie to Produce a plan to forward a Proposal on the A400 Atlas Aircraft that they could Tender to the United States Air Force and other Forces of the United States. It may seem That this maybe a bit Far Fetched but a journey of this type to at sooner or later replace the C130 Hercules in favour of a larger and very Manageable Aircraft that has Good prospects could just be true and I mentioned what a mind blowing experience it would be to see a Gunship based on the A400 Atlas, Food for Thought maybe ?. I believe I Think Lockheed Martin may have at One time Offered some advice to Airbus Industrie on some Vibration Issues with the A400 but don't quote myself on that but if so they then have Obviously Advanced Knowledge on the A400 and maybe we just might as I said see that which we never thought possible but just maybe come to Fruition in a Joint Project between Lockheed Martin and Airbus Industrie to Market the Aircraft in the United States to the Defence Forces and to the masses as such. I know what people would think of this idea but Times are changing and evolving and many Aircraft Companies know they have to Evolve as well and seems to be the way to go. Soonner or later the C130 Hercules albeit a Superb Aircraft may see a Retirement from many Military Force's just like that of the R.A.F. and the A400 Atlas is right there. The Aircraft could very well do the Duties in Long Range Maritime Patrol and Search and Rescue Tasks among many other ideas including the Ever Growing Air Tanker Popularity in Fighting Wildfires. Now I am no Expert just a layman making a statement which may seem silly to some but also maybe make some think about this for a moment or two. The A400 Atlas has a chance to fulfill the role of Top Aircraft in terms of First Choice with many Armed Force's seeking a Readymade Replacement for the Hercules long term. Regards.
This is my favorite transport aeroplane. Thanks for posting it and letting us have a peek a Le Bourget from far away.
Thumbs up, great catch and nice video...
