Yes, me being an Indian has no hesitation in saying that Pakistani music has always rocked and we have always hailed Mehdi Hasan, Noor Jahan, NFAK etc. Sad that so many my childhood songs were copied without an iota of giving credit to original composers. Anu Malik and Bappi Lehri are just 2 people among a league of music directors like Rajesh Roshan, Viju Shah, Anand Milind, Nadeem Shravan who have mostly copied the songs. A.R. Rehman and to a certain extent Jatin Lalit were the two saving graces of 90s.
