I think one of best episode for me. Being a guy who born in 82.. 90s songs were best. Now days I don't find any good song to be remembered. It's not because songs in 80 & 90s were better , but because there were no multiple distraction or ovekill.
We only used to hear the songs occasionally usually once a week
The main medium of hearing was either DD or radio , I still remember the hindi cassettes used to be so expensive till T Series came
Also only limited songs used to be released in a year and due the above we were not bombarded with 1000s of songs , so we had the time to digest and appriciate a good song before a new song came.
That's why we like songs from 80s and 90s much more thans songs in last decade or so.
There are some amazing songs like Teri Mitti etc these days but because we are bombarded with new songs every day and we keep hearing same song in multiple channels day in and day out that we grow tired of the songs very quickly and because of that we can't retain it.
I am sure if Phela Nasha was released in this decade , it may have still been a hit but it would not have been a cult classic song like it is today.
