I laughed at the canoe painting. I have been in canoes and have painted things, never together and I kinda want to try. It looked like some risky fun :) You came up as a suggested video here on the you of tubes but I'll look you up on Instagram as well. I enjoy supporting and watching those trying to live more authentically, especially in "alternative" ways. Narrowboat living is especially of interest to me. I'm looking forward to more videos from you. I loved your little nature vignettes you had on here before this vlog. The walkthrough one was interesting to see how one can live on a project boat, even if a quick glimpse. Place looks quite a bit better now. It will be fun to see the transformation on Instagram. Oh and citrus skin is a great idea for fire lighting!
❤️ Bones thank you for the link on FB watch the video enjoyed it and that misty morning was absolutely beautiful. Took me back to the photo when me and hubb went canal boat holiday was fab.. so I guess we will see you on the next video.☺️ Have a wonderful day. 🥰

Nice to meet you, Bones! I'm Janise. Your video was in my suggestions and I'm now a subscriber. I'm an admitted Anglophile and hope to some day spend some time living on a narrow boat, so I'll be happily following along with whatever you share. 👍

Oh, one more thing... How did you come to be known as Bones? I ask because I'm preparing to hike the Appalachian Trail and hikers are often given trail names so I wondered if you might be a hiker? 😊
Great vid Bones. Awesome shot of the misty morning! Rust on Crucible already? Only seems like yesterday that you launched her. I remember your first lock 🤓 Take it easy mate. Lee

Get some very fine brass snare wire & stitch it into your ropes. I betcha the cows won’t chew the ropes any more.
That would probably work! Although if I damage their cows I think the Farmer would kick me off her land pretty quick!
Good point
@@clintromine802 I usually just chase them off with a paddle!
This is fab! Well done Bones. My boys have loved watching this with me.
Awesome! Have you subscribed for future videos?
Nice one Bones, you've clearly got the right niche here! I've tried a whole load of YT channel ideas and not one video even got 100 views haha

I use satsuma skins for my fire too and pine cones are also really good
They are perfect little lighters and I even tried combining them with a pine cone once!
Welcome to the narrowboat bloggers fraternity. Look forward to following you. Where are you moored currently?
Thanks for the welcome! I’m currently on the Thames just after Reading. Where are you moored?

Good question!
