Very helpful guide on how to do the Tek Cave and Overseer! I've never done the fight in ASE or ASA, but I've always wanted to try. I play by myself on my own dedicated server and have always been scared of botching trying to get everything through the door or having most of the dinos yeet themselves into the lava. I recently decided that I can back up the save right before putting the tributes in the terminal to take away enough pressure and stress to feel ok about giving it a go. I think I will go with your approach except I will also bring a small gang of nimble creatures like yutys and theris to follow the carchar on passive. If they die, they die, but if some live they will make the Overseer fight a bit shorter. I don't think I have the extraordinary patience you do. Haha! Anything that survives will help keep my fingers from being permanently cramped after the fight. As an aside, your carchar is absolutely beautiful! Wish I had a nicely coloured one. Mine are all snot green with orange dots and some sort of brownish beige belly. :(
Been watching your ASA series since it dropped and i found your videos, just finished watching the whole playthrough you did on ASE aswell. Such great content to have going while i play through the game. Can not wait to see the SE and Center playthroughs. Keep it up mate, content is awesome.
Great Job once again, I was wondering if maybe it would be a good idea to take a shoulder pet with you not just for extra warmth if it's an Otter but also more Carry weight and something to put your stuff in before you leave?
Yes, otter is good, I had planned to take the archaeopteryx so didn’t include an otter in my prep lol. Prob wouldn’t have loaded it up with stuff in case it died but the weight red is a good idea. After the fight I only lost element but I am sure in ASE if you put your ele in a dino then you didn’t lose it, when I did gamma I put all my ele in the yuty and still lost it so ASA must be different…or it’s a bug lol
I can see why it would be, I played a bit of pvp official as a solo player it was too tense 100% of the time, absolute respect for pvp official players, it’s like playing a whole different game
It’s possible, I haven’t done it again since this was recorded but a cpl of other ppl have said the same thing. Means you would have to tek suit constantly and land up the other end of the arena to eat and drink then get back in the air quickly
@@uptightllama I tested working my way down to arena with pyromane, works well 99% of the time once you figure a safe way (1% being the occasional purlovia). Against overseer, pyromane is too weak to tank the whole fight, but you can have it on shoulder and use it to eat/drink/heal. Also, pyro insulation from cold/heat/lava is great.
Tek rifles are good and element is light but the rifles are only primitive (won’t get better ones until extinction) so the shotgun does a lot more dps. Plus primitive tek rifle has very low durability and they would’ve kept breaking. 👍
I haven’t been in there since but others have said it isn’t there anymore, I need to take a backup character through soon so I’ll check it out and add a comment in the description if it’s changed
Yes thanks, I use tek pants all the time, they’re great for when your encumbered. At the point I entered the cave I was wearing ghille though. The entry to the cave is a bit glitchy and tek boots will also help, otherwise you get stuck on the floor, I noticed that when I did gamma. Thx for your comment, appreciate it 👍
Esta bien de esta manera pero en lo que tardas en matarlo a disparos puedes meter unos 10 rex que te ayuden con el daño total es el mismo tiempo o quiza menos cuando mueran te habrán ayudado lo suficiente . Es una opinión

I chose the alpha option and it gives me gamma. What should I do?

what was shotgun damage?? is PVE capped at 298% like PVP??
Was 298 and yes the cap is the same pve or pvp on official
Is it just me or they fixed the ledge where you stand above Overseer ? Could not stand there today, couldnt really find another suitable spot.

Did they patch where you can stand on the ceiling part??

WHY NOT USE TEK RIFLES???

Hold ctrl when walking while you are encumbered! That’s what the pants are for is when you encumbered you can still run
