Watching this while on my period… in pain
As someone who eats avocados as a whole food group on their own I found that they’re ripe not when they’re soft at the top, but when they give slightly when you press the mid-lower part. Almost like a soft grape. The skin would also be a deep green/reddish purple. Another thing for storing avocado halves, place them in a container and fill halfway (to cover the exposed part of the avocado) with water. It’ll be slightly less firm, but still green and delicious. Hey! Neem is nasty tbh and not super effective. For gnats I recommend mosquito bits and yellow sticky traps for current issues (fly strips if it's bad bad) and then for long term maintenance either systemic granules or liquid like sns209 which is what I add to my water every time I water!
