[Cover: Bass + Guitar] Judas Priest - Breaking the Law

This is my first "real rock song" so it was quite fun to learn it!
This is primarily a progress log, I know it's not ideal in a few spots but happy with my progress anyway! First time being able to play a bit of a faster rock song, even if no solo.
Was practicing this for a while and decided to also do the bass part as well. The bass was actually a challange at first since I'm not used to alternate picking on bass but more of a finger player, and that took a moment to get used to.
Edits: The bass is 1 take, the guitar is two takes since I really messed up tone of the last chords bit and was too annoying so the audio is fixed in the last minute. Disclosing since it's not 1 guitar take, but 2.
Overall happy with the cover though, so uploading for future reference to see how much I progress :)

been here a couple of times on repeat now over the days - the songs grows on me - it's dense - unusual flow - as for your longer running staccato practicing sessions - maybe the next one - may i recommend fink's pilgrim - it has a strangely melodic though continues fastening staccato guitar riff combined with a build up pumping dry bass score - the repeating vocals and lyrics are an instrument in itself - anyhow.. im on a rant.. :) much enjoying your channel and you sharing - thanks

Oh thank you for the thoughtful comment :-) yeah it’s a pretty fun song, love the energy even if pretty “simple” 😅 I still have a few unclean notes there… but since this is primarily for fun and my tracking progress uploaded…
I’ll check out the song you mentioned! Started with a teacher recently and we’re working through nirvana songs right now 😊
