    Beveling stacked ledger stone is definitely not for the faint of heart. Excellent work. Thank you for sharing. On a side note, definitely not a fan of those Kerf textured stones, personal preference I guess.

    Lovely work Sal. I recently tiled an intricate bathroom with 800mm x800mm tiles. Sloping ceilings, 2 windows, 2 niches and an alcove. 5 whole tiles, 58 cuts! I feel your pain.

    You can bet the client never would have attempted this if they hadn't experienced Sal's prior work.

    Big takeaway is that you’re cutting all this ledgerstone dry. No water used in cutting.
    Does it have anything to do with the saw you’re using?
    Thanks… Awesome work and videos

    This looks amazing. I'm planning a DIY and this video has been very helpful! I really like the stack stone used, can you tell me what brand/what it's called?

    Lot of good work. In the Corners I see you can never be perfect as you mentioned, but if there are any fine gaps, do you think it's a good idea to fill them slightly in with some caulk of matching color?

      @CP-ux9zd 9 місяців тому

      No caulk used on the ledgerstone.. trying to keep the look.. not screw it up

    Nice work. I’ve been thinking of trying some stone on the fireplace. Not that big of an area a bit more simple.
    What’s the best thinset for stone if I buy at Home Depot ? Versa Bond?

      Not sure about Custom products, I don't use them, but I would look for a thinset that meets ANSI A118.11 or better.

      Supposed to have a slope of 2" per foot, however some people just don't want that slope, so they will live with cold water drips.

    Hi, sorry for my bad english...your videos is really helpful, i like it. So i have some question about material of fireplace walls(base) - its drywall or plywood or something else(i mean this panels fixed with self-tapping screws) and what is it covered with? Is it fiberglass mesh up there?
