many good points were made.I rode to San Diego from my home 100 mi. It was just straight down the PCH. But I got there before anybody in my group. I was 17 and rode a bike every day for 6 yrs as a news carrier. Cops were looking for me. My group and employer looked for me. It was so much fun. Yeah. I ride many miles a year now.
"Wow, that's an incredible story! Riding 100 miles to San Diego at 17 is no small feat, especially with all the excitement along the way. It’s awesome to hear you’ve kept up with cycling and continue to log so many miles. What’s been your favorite ride since then?"
"That's awesome to hear! Sometimes a shift in perspective can make a huge difference. Thinking of your ride as 'beckoning' you can turn it into an exciting invitation rather than a challenge. I'm glad this idea sparked something new for you-keep embracing that mindset! 🚴♂💪"
"Absolutely! Sometimes keeping it simple is the best way to enjoy the ride. Just turning the cranks and being in the moment is what it’s all about. Thanks for the reminder!"
Thanks for your input! I get that it can feel forced at times. Finding a balance is key, and sometimes it's all about enjoying the ride without overthinking it!"
❤

When I’m trying to get psyched up for a ride I have never thought of my ride “ beckoning” me. 🙄

Nice thoughts but too forced and tiring in this version. No space at all.
Just keep going 🔥 and don't forget why you start
