Northumberland and the surrounding areas are stunning it's just a shame it's so far away. Did you visit Bamburgh Castle or are castles not your thing? It's an extremely well maintained example of our history. Also at the beginning of the causeway to the Holy Isle, you can camp there on the left hand side, listen to the waves crashing, watch the stars twinkling and relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the night. 👍
