Glad you covered ear cleaning. My GSP is now 5 months. had issues twice as a small pup with ear infections so I am extra careful when washing her head to keep water away from the ears. Looks like I can do better around the head area and not be so hesitant as long as I follow up with the proper ear cleaning solution and cleaning/drying method you show. Very Helpful. The nails... I have been getting away with a good set of sharp (human) toe nail clippers and a good nail file. But, that is because I was working with a puppy. Even now at 5 months, It is probably time to check out your store for a new set of the dog nail clippers that will handle adult dog nails.
Sweet Paws makes massaging bath gloves for dogs and cats that are made of silicone to protect your hands. They are durable and very easy to sanitize, plus are double sided so they also work for lefties. My dog has been enjoying bathtime a lot more since I've started bathing him with the Sweet Paws gloves. It's a legit massage!
QUESTION , How do I keep your dog and family healthy having your lab out in the hunting field and out on the farm? We have a lab for family & Hunting that lives inside and my wife is terrified he will bring parasites, ringworm, ticks and other unwanted things into the home? Looking for preventative measures & practices. any help will be much appreciated. Love the show, Thanks!
I have labs up here in Alaska...never have bathed a dog in 30+ years of labs...we just take them for a quick swim in the local clearwater stream and good to go. I want their coats to retain the natural oils for cold duck hunts, so no shampoo.
YAWA question: I have a 3 1/2 month old english springer spaniel. He has been great at potty training but ever since we got him when he was 8 weeks old he has had issues peeing a little when he gets really excited. This is especially an issue when we have people over so we always take him outside before people come in. This has helped with meeting new people but it is still an issue when my girlfriend or I leave the room then come back and he is very happy. Is there anything else that we should do to help or will he hopefully grow out of it as he gets older and better bladder control?
I have a 1 1/2 year old GSP, and he has been deathly afraid of water since I brought him home, he runs from the hose, a water bottle, wont go inside the pool fence. Not sure what started it. Never forced him to bathe. Went to give him a bath the first time and as soon as I turned on the faucet in the tub, he ran. How do I cure that?
Just a little tip that I saw on another groomers channel, she recommends lathering up the shampoo on the dog using a loofa!!! It really helps to break up the grime and dirt on the call and add to the soooo penis of the shampoo for easier coverage lather!

Gunnar is a very sweet dog. He put up with a lot, with almost no fuss.
He is a nice boy!!

Gotta love a clean dog!🐾🤣
Assuming we don’t have dog showers is a bad assumption, but love the video and training program!
