@RyanDeakin Thank you for making this simple, yet informative video. It is exactly what I needed to know and you didn’t add lots of filler content to drag it out… short and to the point. I really appreciate it. I’m about to give my large puppy a summer cut and this is my first time I’ve ever groomed a doggie, so I had no idea how to clean these clippers. Thanks again very much and have a great week!

I threw the pad out too, I thought it was a wad of hair out!

Yeh I agree he could have cleaned the hair out of the foam more but I would say he probably gets the massive build up of hair because of how much oil you put on them if that's the norm it's too much

Yep......my uncle taught me when I first started using them to just use a "little" to coat the blades!

Did this once and the clippers did not perform as well after putting it back together.

What did you do after? I got some Wahl clippers before, I took them apart and cleaned by brushing and wetting. After it wouldn't cut AT ALL, I replaced them some weeks ago with same brand. Hoping it was either a dud or just a mistake on my end cause I love the cordless operation and quality of the build itself.

Why did you clean it then stuff the wad of hair back in? I cleaned mine and washed away all the hair and can’t seem to get it together

it's not a wad of hair it's a pad that's part of the clippers

Its a bit of spongey material that prevents the hair from getting further inside the clippers where the motor is I think
