She says she thus doesn't have that memory of her mother dying, and as a mother herself, would not have wanted her child to have seen her dying. I saw her Gounod's "Romeo et Juliet" in L.A. where she played her character nude in the bedroom scene.

Although she doesn't speak German, she sings it well, and Austria granted her an Austrian passport in honor of her talent. (!)
