That flag is the flag used by chinese taipei in the olympics. Probably because of their tensions with China P.R. they weren't allowed to use their own flag.
They've never been able to use their real flag in Olympic competitions.

There's been dispute over the legitimacy of them as a sovereign nation. They began as communist refugees from the Chinese civil war. They set up government and claimed for decades to be the rightful government of China and not that in Beijing. They have since progressed away from authoritarianism, into a progressive democracy. China sees it differently, and believes that taiwan belongs to them. It's been in contention for decades.

A lot of the things portrayed in swimming is wrong.
Women and men never swim in the same heat unless it's a mixed relay
They don't yell out how much meters you have already swam
They don't yell out which stroke you do next
With a time of 53.756 you wouldn't even get into the olympics, you wouldn't even qualify for nationals
They don't have a thousandths place for time in swimming events
When you get tired you don't go into a streamline
The person thats doing all the narration in the game would actually say nothing
You would never get so tired in a 100 freestyle that your body actually stops in the water
The swimming officials would follow you when you're swimming not just wait at the pool deck
