But yes it seems that serum went to his head and made him more violent and unhinged.
Tim Roth is one of my favorite actors. He's very much underrated like Ciaran Hinds is. But they both are brilliant actors that put their all in their craft!
And you can tell hulk lost that advantage after saving Betty and starting to calm down while looking at her but he got that anger back when he started to choke abomination out. At 18:12 you can see that hulk was a tad bit weaker since he’s pulling with 2 arms and abomination with only one, but you see hulks strength gradually rising and him becoming more aggressive and violent as abomination is relentlessly punching him. And at 18:20 we see how hulk can counter his strength and that abomination is struggling and in a panic and we see how hulk held his arm in order to pull out the elbow bone to stab him with(the same guy easily overpowering and pinning him earlier and at that moment he couldn’t anymore). And you see hulks strength still rising and he becomes so strong that abomination screams out in pain and exhales all air he had left at 18:32.(The same guy that was like “is that all you got” earlier in the fight) This hulk was a beast
@@shameekgrimes1921 Oh yeah good point even though in other parts of that movie they treated him as a joke/ used him for a punchline. I honestly don’t see what all the hate is for this movie. I for one actually love this movie and other than Capt America Civil War this is the MCU movie that I watched the most. And that’s saying something because Ironman is my favorite Superhero of all time and I’ve still watched this movie more than all the Ironman movies probably combined.
I don't get it either. This for me is a far more realistic depiction of the Hulk. Not that I don't like the Avengers guy but this guy just feels more menacing somehow. I think it's the overall tone of the movie. It's far more brutal than anything in the Infinity Saga.

Look at the fight IQ,Dude actually knows how to use his surrounding and extend his reach. Today's Hulk just spams all the punches and got counter attack by Thanos with ease. Look at that legendary "Thunder Clap". Haven't seen that since this movie. Also "Hulk smash". Do I even need to say more? Everything is better about this Hulk. Everything bloody thing.
i love this movie. but as a New Yorker. you can really tell the end fight was not filmed in Harlem. which makes sense. but it looks and feels like the Midwest or something. when i first watched this in 08 i didn't even realize is was supposed to be NY. still great though.
okay , here's my thought , nagel's serum maybe didn't alter your physical appearance , but erskine's serum made steve rogers "healthier" , and don't forget the vita-ray , IMHO steve rogers is the best super soldier out there, i mean capt. rogers is the strongest super soldier , he just never went all out like the flag smashers / winter soldier , he always adjust his power according to his opponent , remember when karli punch lemar's chest? it's broken on the moment she hit his chest, if roger is the one who punch it, it might tear a hole on lemar's chest
Getting back into the Hulk mood for the first time since Ragnarok. I'm happy Hulk is starting to get more representation in the MCU again with all these little additions like him and Abomination in Shang-Chi, both of them returning in She-Hulk and the rumors of a potential world war Hulk movie sounds incredible (Pun intended) I'm excited to see what comes next.

The fact both have been confirmed to be 0% body fat so every muscle line and vein is visible is great to look at. I like how Emil wasn’t even really a bad person at first. He was just a guy doing his job
I think we got the hints he was a bad person deep down (before he knew he was hulk he would have preferred to shoot Banner instead of capture him, shot the noisy dog when it was unnecessary) but he was much more in control/reserved. But yes it seems that serum went to his head and made him more violent and unhinged.

I like the transformation 16:50 - Abomination was stronger, but you see hulk becoming stronger as he gets angrier and overpowers him
And you can tell hulk lost that advantage after saving Betty and starting to calm down while looking at her but he got that anger back when he started to choke abomination out.
And you see hulks strength still rising and he becomes so strong that abomination screams out in pain and exhales all air he had left at 18:32.(The same guy that was like “is that all you got” earlier in the fight)
This hulk was a beast
Even in a movie that’s kinda bunk, Tim Roth is pretty great.

He was pretty scary in Avengers and he's been worse ever since
He was also pretty scary in age of ultron with the crazy brainwashing.
@@shameekgrimes1921 Oh yeah good point even though in other parts of that movie they treated him as a joke/ used him for a punchline. I didn't hate the banter during the Hulkbuster fight but it could've been really intense if there was little to no dialogue during it to show how scarh the Hulk is - I think that might've been cool
Besides the first Avengers, Age of Ultron and a little bit in Ragnorok.
Hate? Everyone liked this movie.
Eh, Ang Lee's version is still best, with Thor:Ragnarok a close second. Though Thor: Ragnarok is clearly better than all the Hulk movies combined.

@@SnD340 yeah, maybe those winter soldier with howard stark's serum
okay , here's my thought , nagel's serum maybe didn't alter your physical appearance , but erskine's serum made steve rogers "healthier" , and don't forget the vita-ray , IMHO steve rogers is the best super soldier out there, i mean capt. rogers is the strongest super soldier , he just never went all out like the flag smashers / winter soldier , he always adjust his power according to his opponent , remember when karli punch lemar's chest? it's broken on the moment she hit his chest, if roger is the one who punch it, it might tear a hole on lemar's chest
@@Indic4Zone I agree, Steve Roger's is the only "super soldier" everyone else is a failed attempt or has a less powerful serum injected.
Getting back into the Hulk mood for the first time since Ragnarok. You really have to appreciate the level of these two 2008 cgi characters. Cgi has come a long way but Hulk and Abomination still look miles above other creations today in 2021. The fact both have been confirmed to be 0% body fat so every muscle line and vein is visible is great to look at. It's a shame Hulk's re design for 2012 added a small amount of fat to his physique, he is still great but 2008is more of a monster purely on design.
Makes you wonder how this team would've tackled designing other heavy hitters like Juggernaut, the Blob, Strong Guy or Rhino. A man can dream.
If you think CGI has improved since then with MCU then you are wrong, Thor LAT was a disappointment with Alex. My mans really became a png 💀
