- When Sunseeker replaced the Predator 53 with the Predator 57 in 2015 it decided to do things a little differently. Customers could indeed choose between an open-backed hardtop with a massive sliding roof on the main deck or an enclosed deck saloon with a solid sliding roof, the difference was that they could carry on choosing once they had bought it, both versions were the same boat!
Nick Burnham (aka. Aquaholic) explains what to look for when buying a used Sunseeker Predator 57...

Another great tour Nick, this channel is lucky to have you as a guest.
Certainly know your stuff, I always look forward to seeing your new videos. Dare I ask what's your favourite yacht?
Clever "Hat Trick" (pun intended). BTW, if Nick wasn't the host on this video I wouldn't be watching - NO joke. Why is Nick the best? If you have to ask, you don't know Nick..
Thank you for sharing...
I wssnt so keen at first, but as soon as the roof was opened, it was completely different. I can imagine myself cruising around the med with sun streaming in......... although that might just be wishful thinking with the grey skies over Manchester!!
Another great video....... i might not always like the boat on show, but its so interesting being able to compare models 😊
Best layout you can get, just open up so well with a garage and doesn't sacrafice on anything. I've never been more convinced that the 57-60ft range is the perfect size
Great presentation as usual Nick.
Great tour, Nick! Love this boat!
Beautiful boat. Nice job Nick.
Thank you for uploading this video! I love the sunseeker boats and videos, more please!!!!
Another great review in the can!
Nice boat, well done.
Love the interior finishes. Very classy.
Meh, might consider this as a nominee for my dreamboat list, but it needs some Aquaholic pillows.
Great tour, as I expected. Thanks Nick
My favourite boat, just stunning and a great tour!
Cool features. 3 statetrooms with 2 real full size heads. With that roof openning up I was thinking it would make a nice smugglers blue 3.
Has the features you like in a little bigger package.
And its managable short crew.
Thanks for sharing.
Great video of a great boat! Love that sliding roof!
Mmmh... I kinda would like a Princess with that roof. Sort of mix and match.
Gorgeous boat!
incredible and modern i like this boat
Strange how we all like different things, this really doesn’t hit the spot for me, maybe it’s the gloss wood
this is nick
Another great tour with loads of information about options/extras; it’s really informative. Nick, the sound quality isn’t as good as on your own channel, are you using a different mic setup?
Nope, exactly the same. I suspect the difference is that it was very breezy when I filmed this, so it is picking up a little wind noise.
If aquaholic is here, im here!
Oh, he's here alright: ua-cam.com/video/Wfrb7zJQqa0/v-deo.html
Hi Nick,
Really enjoy your reviews but as someone who would love to own one of the cheaper boats you review it would be great to know a bit about the running costs, berthing etc
Also how about a comparative test or two
Well done on a great channel
The layout is a bit strange where the tv is placed, the viewing angle is weird.
Nice boat
I'm not liking this cut view mashup thing I would prefer a one shot tour.
Yes was thinking exactly the same. More rushed, so less time to appreciate the footages and the boat
Ok Ok , I’ll take one 😃
Did these come with surfdrives? Are there disadvantages of Surdrives?
I reckon Nick Burnham is better looking
Why is a high low platform so called? Are the always low, but higher than a typical low platform, or are they able to go both high and low?
Able to go both high and low, so that you can store and launch a tender on it.
I was hoping for a small balcony for the master bedroom to sit on in the morning with fresh brew on the go!
Those balconies are amazing, but we've only seen them on much larger yachts, 24m+
Just under £1M seems a bargain for everything you get and aged well from 2016. Only question is why the previous owners only put 97h on the clock.
When it's actually an owner using it, not a charter. 97h is actually a fair bit for 3 years. Say you did 2 full weeks every year, that's under power 10% of the time of all 2 weeks. 2½ hours every single day. If you do gibraltar to greece every year then 97 is not a lot. If you only use it 1 week every other year than 97hours is a lot.
Dan Frederiksen I’m struggling to understand why someone would pay 1m for something then only use it once a year, but I see your point. 👍
@@adamcotterill3511 it would obviously be someone with money. Compare it to a camper van, it's not unreasonable to only use once a year or less. You might think that's a waste and in a very real sense it is but that's how it is with items that's not daily use. Summer houses too.
It's also why fractional ownership makes so much sense. I'm buying a small plane now and getting my license and that's 1/8. It allows me to say I have a plane in a hangar waiting if I want to use it and largely no financial burden. They've had it for 7 years and even with 8 owners it's only flown 400 hours. so even with 8, it's generally always available and that's how it works so great. With a yacht that's summer focused I'd aim more for 4-6 owners but that's still a tremendous reduction in burden. Exactly because you want to use it so rarely. And if everyone relaxes and don't try to hoard weeks in advance then it's probably free at a moments notice when you want to use it. Just like a much higher wealth level. I can have my Tesla to drive to my local plane to fly to my yacht while my stocks pay the bills :) of course just having a billion dollars makes things simpler (some things harder) but it is truly remarkable what fractional ownership can enable.
Something I should have done earlier but advice to the younger with a solid job, live modestly and put it all in top index tech stocks for a few years and you become financially independent relatively quickly. And shared global wealth grows rapidly so in the future prosperity will come easier.
Dan Frederiksen I didnt know split ownership was possible.. soon as this thing is over I'm going to start looking.
Is this your day job Nick? ;-)
Last 🤣
I’m lost, you showed the crew cabin and engine room first! I like them last please

Take a write off and gift me.
The edits are annoying. You lose the flow of the layout.
This is not very good. And the boat is crap too
Tad harsh
Hmmmm, no taste then!
Stop drinking against the grain of the liquor Jim, you will find yourself in a shit storm.
