Turbo M52 E30 Gets Real Wheels

- I rolled the fenders with a hammer, tucked the early model bumpers and ceramic coated the new wheels in this video. I'm so happy with how this turned out. These are Brock b1 16x9 et15 all around, wrapped with 215/45/16 Falken Azenis RT615k with a 5mm spacer up front to clear to coilover and nothing in the rear.

Good look, man. I got my hands on a set of Borbet Type B, 17x8.5” front 10” rear. Restored them and threw them on. She sits well and doesn’t ride too bad. No coilovers needed. Only thing missing is a few more HP lol

Ceramic coating is great in the long term. (It’s my job btw) I apply 1 coat on each wheel, start wiping down each wheel in order, apply again. Wipe again. And then heat the wheel to about 100 degrees for 5 min
I ceramic coated my new wheels too. Best thing you could possibly do to keep the wheels looking nice. Dirt and dust just spray off easily with water.
i only did 1 coat so i’m really curious how long it’s gonna last
@@ImJoel I did two coats as thick as I could and it's been good for months. Even 1 coat is going to be wayyyyy better than nothing for sure

@@jimmyjamal2392shouldn't be a issue, i ran 9x16" Borbet A all around on lowered e30 with no issues. Dont remember tires, might have been 205/45, a bit stretch tho. Google it, there's a website that shows pics

i always do the phonebook method. jack the car up, and drop it on paper/phonebooks etc. rolls it perfectly, never chipped my paint besides when it was already chipped from this bs newengland weather.

they are BCs and i really love them, before i took the rear adjusters off the springs it had the perfect amount of squat to grip up
