Yeah idk why they didn't just continue with the Metal Saga series, hell Shogun Steel had potential to be good since it's still a part of the Metal Saga but they had to come out with that other shit. Ryuto definitely was powerful, just not as strong as any of the Legendary Bladers (and that went for any non legendary blader), I'd say he definitely could hang in there with Masamune, since they both have similar beys and what not, that's one of the main reasons why I felt he should have helped, and he was a new character on top of it. Wasted potential imo.
@@hitrule5722 Yea ikr, would love a continuation with the og cast, gingka, ryuga kyoya etc. but i feel like metal fury also left us with lots of plot holes and unnecessary power ups which would make it very odd for the series to continue unfortunately. Like for instance, having the star fragment granted the beys a DRASTIC power buff over the ones without it, but only 10 people had this buff, and gingka basically got a sage of the six paths naruto buff vs nemesis. In shogun steel also we see sakyo mention that he got his bey from rygua who was supposed to be dead? And yea this is true. A lot of characters are wasted potential tbf most notably would be helios and damian for me. We had damian who came in hot af and not only cooked yu and tsubasa but then casually wiped team excalibur, but then he goes and loses to gingka and kyoya's plot armor, even though we literally saw gingka and masamune get cooked by excalibur in a 3v3 with yu. And then we see this motherfucker helios completely overpower gingka hagane but then later in the movie he loses to gingka? And then we just get more power of friendship-talk no jutsu nonsense.
