@@Ewannj Ed won’t be able to import the car into the US. The car needs to be 25 years or older for it to be imported into the US from the UK.

I think Ed is doing the same thing as he did with manual LP640s, great cars overall, but Ed really levitated that car to became "million dollar car". He brought the significancy and rarity to public eyes. We have seen Veyron market in downfall in recent years, but it seems that Ed is determined to bring back its deserved glory and profit with it of course like with 640s, but I am very very happy to see Ed focused on something and I am for sure that he'll make it happen, wish him all the luck in the world, one of my all time favorite UA-camr/vlogers.
$5000 for a 2 day "university" course about detailing that's in no way from a university? And whose website promises their customers see an average return of $500k a year? Yeah I'm gonna have to pass on this totally legitimate course...
By a detailing company not about detailing.
They pretty much give you a business plan to start out that's guaranteed $5k a month. You can then take that to the bank, but not on your ssn instead an llc. It's up too you too multiply that, hiring help or automating.
Saved you some money. But the details and paperwork is really what you pay for.

I rode in the "Ponzi Bugatti" a few times and drove it once--Scott actually had two of them, but sold one near the end right before everything collapsed--in 2009 it was a miraculous vehicle in every way...at the time I had a CL63 with the naturally-aspirated V-8 [before the head bolt issue was well-known], and driving that Bugatti made my AMG feel like a Corolla
i think the SS is far and away the most special of the lot. it was the ultimate veyron, full stop. if you could make that one happen, i think itd be worth the most in the long run, by far, regardless of mileage.
Kudos to you for being one of the few people who know how to actually pronounce Molsheim. That alone makes you worthy of owning a Bugatti!

Do it, Ed! Do it while you can! I went through the same situation, granted on a tremendously, lesser scale than what you are trying to attain. I was after a manual transmission Gallardo a few years ago, I had the chance to buy one with low mileage at $90k and for reasons at the time I mistakenly thought were valid, I skipped on getting it. Today they are out of my financial reach 🙄 So keep the hunt alive and when you find it, DO IT!

I live in a town of 14,000 people and this investor dude bought a Bugatti in around 09 but then it was sized by the fbi his name was Tim Durham and that car always fascinated me he even brought it to the shop I work at now (I didn’t then) because he had a flat tire. We told him we couldn’t help him then asked us a tiny independent shop to tow it again we declined

So Ed is like an alcoholic, who goes into a shop trying to get drunk, but the next strongest bottle up is just a 30minute stint of playing guitar on the streets to get the big bottle, and then does the same when he sees a bigger one.

Ohhhhhh Ed. I’ve got a perfect car. Motor hub is a renown UK dealer for all the wrong reasons. It’s based on a region that’s absolutely notorious for having a vibrant and diverse community. Price is currently £1 million (1.3 million freedoms). Comes with a presumable valuable 3 digit UK registration number that I’m sure one of your contacts could orchestrate the sale of. Barely a drop in the ocean at Bugatti prices I’m sure. 30,000km (18,500 miles) at the last annual inspection with no abnormalities to report. It’s silver and black over turd brown suede. What more could a man want? Advertised on UK Autotrader.

There is no way any of these cars are his main interest. This is a diversion. He would never draw this kind of attention to a car he seriously wants.
Whittington brothers-- boy that goes back I knew them from the good ole world jet air racing days and the griffon powered P 51 mustang. I never had any direct dealings with them other than interactions on the ramp at Reno. They certainly had their ups and downs over the years. My unicorn is a Gullwing…..which will never happen as I couldn’t enjoy driving a car worth that much money, the SLS is, so far for me a ‘close but no cigar’ kind of option….maybe in the future….🤔

Ed, are you aware of a red/black Veyron (16.4 I believe) with non-stock wheels in the LA area? I've seen it driven multiple times on Sunset Plaza Dr, La Cienega Dr, and Santa Monica Blvd, so I assume it's a fairly daily driven example, and the owner lives in the Hollywood / Beverly Hills area. Given I've seen it 3x in the past 2 years, I assume it's got some miles and could be a good deal if it were for sale.

For the record, cars that were sold in America can be modified to be imported to the US way before the 25 year mark. If I were you, I'd reach out to someone that's comfortable modifying cars for conformity, like Sean Morris at Top Rank Vehicle Importers or the like, and see what they can find out. Probably not as much as you would think! Especially since you're not in California. lol
Any consideration on Stradman's old Veyron? Salvage might be down your alley
