The conditions were much worse, the amount of grip on the track in 2019 was marginal and Ferrari gambled for slicks, which didn’t work out. No driver error while it was for Vettel. Vettel is accomplished but you fanboys are crazy sometimes and he hasn’t adjusted well to the hybrid era.

Well it's simple. They can't afford to host the race every year, because they actually lose money with the F1 race. 2019 only happened because Mercedes put a lot of money into it to celebrate the 125 year anniversary of their company.

This was my second race after Austria 2019. Both awesome in their own way. Austria has been great for the past 2 years and without rain is miles more fun to visit than Hockenheim.

Cut the guy some slack he's probably in disbelief,he was leading by at least 30 seconds with no errors but he lost that in the blink of an eye.

@@danielo7985 And you think he was oblivious to that? The track pace was that slow at the time, he should have stayed out and given the team time to prepare. The time lost going slower for one lap would be no where near the time lost on a surprise pit stop and a penalty.
Besides all that, I think he has enough experience by now that he knows what's going on and "disbelief" wouldn't be a factor. He and he alone crashed, he and he alone decided to cut the pit entry and catch the pit crew off-guard.
@@NomadUniverse You really don't understand the pressures these guys perform under do you? It is an impulse to go into the pits and fix a broken car, you can sit there in hindsight and say that he should've done X Y & Z (which would've been the correct thing to do) but any driver would do the same thing IMO.
And yes even the best drivers can sit there in "disbelief" at the fact that they made a mistake he doesn't feel he should have made after winning countless wet GPs

I didn't say he was impervious to the mistakes, but for a driver of his caliber and experience, they were pretty big ones. The original excursion off track you can understand, it was catching everyone out. But he made the ridiculous call of entering the pits the way he did, regardless of the "pressure". You shouldn't need hindsight when you're that experienced and allegedly that talented.
It's just a stupid thing to say over the radio when he knows damn well what happened. He's looking for answers from the team when it was all him.
@@NomadUniverse To keep is short he isnt in a coma and 100% knows what He's done and why hes there. He wants to get into the pits asap for repairs, saw the entry and instinctively went in. You talk about "experience" but when has he made a mistake like this in an environment similar to this before, in his head he is the best and the best don't make mistakes.

Bjay_23 / Hope Racing yeah exactly. The athmosphere was such incredible never forget how the crowd react to the stop from Lewis and the overtake from Seb for P2.
Max was just warming his tires after the pitstop
In my opinion this year was the peak of f1 (from what Ive been watching)
So many great tracks
So many great livery's
Red bull, Mercedes and Ferrari all consistently fighting for wins!
Even tho it was 3 years ago I have so much nostalgia for it
This is how the original should've been! 😆 Hopefully you can continue highlights like this in 2020 : D

This is the first race I ever attended live after watching for 25 years. Got seats in the corner just before start finish, best decision ever!
Must of been an unforgettable experience!
How did the cars sound?
@@chokonma9951 the V10 Ferrari demo was sick (heard those cars before). The Porsche Cup made the most noise by far to be honest. F1 cars are not great, the Honda engine though. 👌
