    I would have never thought to sell worms to hotels. Thanks for that insight.

      The ones in the cities won't buy them because they are not getting Fisher people, but ones that are near a hot spot for fishing will buy them right up and if they are not then you have a great reason sell them in the idea! 👍
      Make sure to check your area, or the area's you want to sell in for when fishing season starts this is by far the best time. Remember it's far more time efficient to sell weighting them by the pound then one by one counting them out. Best of luck to ya. 😁

    This is by far my favorite side hustle. Its super low effort and be scaled up almost infinitely. Would definitely recommend anyone who is interested to get started. Just make sure you get the right worms youre looking for. Especially when looking for Red Wigglers, they are often confused or sold as Indian Blues or vice-versa. Happy farming and thanks for the video!

    Keep a breeding stock and use the others to sell. Have a breeding farm and a growing selling stock. Also make fish and livestock feed with all the extra freeze dried. You can make a killing with a large compost pile and controlled environment. You just have to be diligent and intelligent

    Cool video. I've had my worm farm about 5 yrs now, and never sold any worms, castings, or tea. I think I'll attempt it this year.

      Hey thanks for the visit Jamal! So easy to make a few extra dollars starting out. The worms will come back fast after you take some out to sell on the market! Just be careful not to sell too many you want to population to come back quickly, so they are still producing castings as well. Good luck let me know how if goes!

    In California we get Red wigglers for about $30-40 per lb

    We used to grow them in a tub buried great for plants great for fishing. Chickens love them too. That being said that being said money claims seem inflated

    Great job on the video. How much time per week does running a worm farm typically take?

    • @TheWormWhisperer
      @TheWormWhisperer  Рік тому +5

      Hey thanks for watching! Well it all depends on the size of your worm farm, a very large worm farm can take hours a day, or a very small one you will only need to give it attention a few minutes a day or once a week depending. The worms are pretty self reliant.

    What is worm tea?

    • @TheWormWhisperer
      @TheWormWhisperer  Рік тому +1

      Hi, it's the stuff that comes out the bottom of your worm bin, then you mix it up with water to make a worm tea for your plants. Thank you for tuning in!

    How many pounds does 1 bucket yield?

    • @TheWormWhisperer
      @TheWormWhisperer  Рік тому +1

      Hey thanks for watching! This would come down to how many pounds of bedding, and worm food that is added to the bin. The worms will break it down into about the same weight however it will look like less. Hope this helps!
