Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. I want an hour of his standup.
Simon Evans is old school....CLASS,,,,,and a great comedian..
A pity that you never attended ANY school.
That Mount Sinai Tablet joke. This man is so old-school quippy.
What a class act
You are a real British Star you are. You are very much loved by the Counting House. Its in Blackpool.
We made many videos of our kids and grand kids and never watched them . They changed formats so many times we gave up
White, male, middle class and not a swearword said.............wonderful!
Great baby joke - and I love the nativity play observations.
where is this auditorium please - theatre interiors enthusiast here, but I don't know this one. Thanks. PS search Simon Evans plus Peckham and get possibly the best 15 mins of stand-up in the modern era.
Eddie Lawson h
I believe it to be The Clapham Grand, St John's Hill, London. It's not far from Clapham Junction railway station.
This style of comedy has been marginalised over the past few years. It's great to see it here.
Funny comedy you mean you are right there.
“Marginalised”. No… just less popular.

I forgot about the no token female romance part. Good point. It always shat me when they threw in some bullshit romance angle to a good story otherwise in most movies!
Well there *was* romance, just....
Yeah that's important
Play the Doc in clue next season
An old-school drunk on old-fashioned alcohol..............and a healthy helping of cocaine. Saw him giving some to his horse once.
Simon Evans has a beard 9 years ago?
Country File
Ypu would be a good bad guy actor
I record everything because I forget everything.
Maybe its the other way around !!... have you considered that ?? 🙄😏
@@peterfitzpatrick7032 Oh my. Very good point. I’m certainly never going to sharpen my recollection if I always use a crutch- to mix metaphors.
Or on back to the future
Or Freaud in Freud
He's right about the filming, how stupid is it, recording a concert on a 3inch screen or fireworks that's my pet hate, film it on your phone and never watch it because it just doesn't compare, meanwhile they miss out on the real thing because they're too busy trying to hold there phone on the right spot, brainless.
You called people brainless and misused 'there' instead of 'their' in the same sentence, dick.
I used to watch Japanese tourists wandering around Bath with cameras stuck to their faces in the 1980s and wonder what the hell they were getting from the experience, apart from a red ring around one eye. It's a sad reflection on society that forty years later things have just got worse.
When Simon Evans said he was going to be a comedian they laughed. Well, they're not laughing now are they?
This is so interesting I have listened to talk shows with Reed Burton Harris O’Toole and they are talking about their drinking it’s actually so boring and ridiculous
When we were kids we loved adventure films, but we knew sooner or later the hero would be held back by a female in ill fitting clothes, when she did appear, usually about fifteen minutes in, We at the age of five, would moan and groan,, switch off the telly, and go out side to play on our Rally Grifters.
You lucky barstewards!! A Raleigh Grifter... each! I had a Boxer 😢 Happy Days (Relatively😅)
@@sonclearbrahman-ar1461 You sound like my Dad, we asked for Choppers but got the cheaper version.
Few good parts for women in those days with all male writers, directors, producers, etc, running the show.
OToole was Limerick, Irish and very proud of it...never Bristish
Ah, but he spoke English ... brilliantly. Sláinte!
Wasnt he born in Leeds??
@@littletree1343 Yes.
You might be confusing him with Harris
Born in Leeds to a Scottish mother and an Irish father.
speak no ill of the dead
blockydrums With some dead there isn't much else to say. Hitler made the Germans feel better about themselves? Hard to get a complete picture that way. :)
Yeah he was Irish not English
Anthony MacDonnacha yes but from Liverpool.
Or Leeds.. or Connemara..
Who’d of thought with a name like Otoole
Allegedly Irish. No one really knows.
He was born in Leeds. His being Irish was sheer wish fulfilment on his part. If the Irish were happy to grant him their nationality at his wish, I have no problem at all. Most folk born in Yorkshire are more than happy with their good fortune, but if O’Toole wasn’t, good luck to him. It certainly did him no harm.
