- Bastante Bueno Lucha Libre is back with a new update! Prototype v1.4 was released, and we decided to jump back in and see what new things this wrestling game has for us! Any framerate issues in the video are just on the video side, not within the game.

If this game keeps getting updates I wonder if the creators will get Juan from Guacamelee as a guest character.
I'm in favor of adding El Fuerte from Street Fighter 4.

I just realized that the sound effects for selecting a character are the ones from WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game. At least we know it is still in the prototype stages.

The rotating lights and how it casts shadows on the characters etc in the second arena looks so so good. Nice little touch, I really like that.

That little chain of grapple breaks/parries at the end of the video is more evidence that parries add hype to a videogame.
Out of all the "Aki Inspired" games I think I like this one the most, because it had a very unique identity. Besides the obvious things like an Arcade mode, or online, or more characters, I would love to see less emphasis on KO's ending matches in favor of matches ending with two out of three falls style rules. Of course the game is still in development, but a guy can dream.
Ah yes another "AKI inspired" game. When can we start getting "SYM or HCTP" inspired games?

The SYM and HCTP style are games for us casual folk.
The first Rumble Roses game used the HCTP engine. Controls are slightly different but still a hype game nonetheless

If I'm busy with something, I'll play one of NL's videos just for the banter among the boys. If Jawnny squeals or there's a great cacophony of laughter, I'll stop whatever I'm doing and go back to see what they were reacting to. Quality stuff, always.

Is there a reason why the 40 years of WM showcase VoD's aren't on twitch? was looking forward to watching those
I always wonder why streamers sometimes make VODs on Twitch private or unavailable until they upload them to UA-cam(even if it's not something they have to worry about audio being muted on Twitch or something), then make them public again. It's even more annoying when you come into a stream late, go to the VOD so you can watch form the beginning, and get cut off 3/4 of the way through because the VOD is made private once the stream is finished, just because it's going to be uploaded to UA-cam later - and made public again on Twitch at the same time. I've tried to ask a few streamers and people that work with streamers over multiple occasions, over a period of 12+ years at this point, and have never gotten any response.
