I went on a double date to see this at the Drive-In, 1984. Instead of getting drunk and laid - we ended up laughing our asses off. The Motel room afterwards was even funner. I miss being 20 again!
And now Pondo (or at least the great Mathew Causey that played him) is a very well respected theatre director and professor at Trinity College, Dublin! He's does a bunch of other stuff to numerous to go into. What a diamond!
