Powder Video Awards 2008. Best Powder.

No other movie this year included snow so deep, and it occurred not on a bluebird day, but during a blizzard-days that go down among friends as the most memorable. The music also fit the scene, rounding out the strong segment, and making all of us crave a trip to the Far East. While the other contenders-namely Believe, Idea and Lost and Found-had more creative skiing style, you can't argue with the utter deepness from Realtime.

We have an area in Colorado...buried in our mountains, and definitely not on the tourist radar...that has this kind of powder many, many times a year. So deep, I've actually gone completely under the snow. Wild feeling. In fact, they just got dumped on the past two days, and they'll sport 35" fresh by the time the storm moves out.

@hanazononisekojapan awesome, I'm planning on taking a year off to do a season some place new and its a toss-up between Revelstoke BC and Niseko and that sure is an attractive stat. What's the quality of snow like cos I've heard that because its not that far from the coast the powder can be quite heavy- is there any truth in these vicious rumours??? :)
