Agriculture and tourism can skyrocket this Uganda economy in 5-10 if properly. Look at that empty beautiful land though i could see some crop but let's assume the government direct more attention to agriculture especially the banana which is in high demand in Europe and America. Then like you said the country have the lowest tourism income and as the cheapest within East Africa; they really need to market the country. As a Nigerian Uganda has been the first African country i wanted to visit even before your first visit to Uganda years ago, because of my Uganda friends seeing this video increased my interest. Hoping to do that toward the end of this year. The country beautiful no be lie❤
The land you saw is not empty. It's used as pasture for cattle, so we need to preserve it in that way. However we have many other places where agriculture is subsistence and needs to be commercialised.

The whole Uganda scenery is amazing, but the last little island resort is priceless . Even though I knew so well why colonialists propagate negative images about us as "poor & diseased" people due to our vast wealth, this particular scenery of Uganda speaks more louder about how blessed we are. The western part of Ug is truly breathtaking. Wish the northern part of Ug could be nearly as beautiful as the rest of Ug. Hope the Uganda Tourism Board comes up with a way of encouraging and influencing the northern, north-western and north-eastern parts of Ug to grow their tourism potential so that Uganda shines as a whole!
I do not know what other African countries teach in Geography. When I was in high school, part of my geography was called the Rest of Africa. In the rest of Africa, I learnt about the Akosombo dam in Ghana, I learned about cocoa growing in Ghana. And when it comes to tourism in Uganda, Idi Amin himself was promoting it. In one video clip Idi Amin boasted that the animals in Uganda were free unlike anywhere else in the world. He even greeted the elephants and crocodiles in Swahili. Idi Amin promoted traditional dances across all communities in Uganda. A pan-Africanist Idi Amin is said to have name one street Malcom X Street.
