He was so classy after he got the instant save . He wasnt celebrating he was considerate and comforting to the other contestants i thought that was so sweet .
I thought that was a sweet gesture also because I believe that Serenity was very emotional and upset so good for him thinking about the young girl who seems to need comforted

But the singing was off and the maddi's were clearly better than him
It didn't work, as you could see it was fake; he wasn't into the song that much. Everything sounded forced!

@@GDmeatball Maddi had a couple of horrible song choices. She was trying to do hip hop and be a performer on top of trying to showcase her beautiful and pitch perfect voice. It's a real shame because I thought she would be in the top 5, but choosing songs where she was only half singing didn't do her any favors. I was really sad to see her go home but hip hop, or whatever she was trying to do, just was her downfall. If that's who she is and wants to be, it's not fair to push her away from that.
@@ZevMeth_originaljewishmusic This performance and the one prior, he seemed super off. He didn't seem like he wanted to be here. He's a super emotional person, so I'm not sure if he was going through it and just wasn't all there, but he definitely wasn't himself. I voted for him and so badly wanted him to go through, and was truly surprised when Carson read his name.
This was his best performance in the live rounds. He felt the most comfortable with this song and it fit his voice better than I anticipated. Way to pull out all the stops when it counted the most!

@@fishfox27 Just because it is planned it doesn't mean it is not authentic. Almost everything in a song will be planned but it is in how you delievr it that will make it authentic. Deliver it to express what you are feeling in that moment. Remember almost everything in the song is rehearsed during practice and rehearsal or at least planned.
Just my opinion only I really feel like John had already messed him up with some of those song choices THAT DID NOT FIT BRYAN I actually think he would have done so much better if he had picked Dan n Shay as his coach, I'm sorry they would have made so much better song choices for Bryan. My opinion John has literally screwed him up Its truly sad I will no longer be a John Legend fan, & of course he didn't care that he screwed him up, of course not it's his last yr coaching But we see he made sure to give Nathan better song choices. Nothing against Nathan he's great also. I just feel John literally messed Bryan up just as he has other performers in the past. It was just wrong.I wish the show could be done completely over & Dan n Shay coach Bryan & Everyone could see exactly what I meant. It would be a totally different situation.I promise you

I absolutely love this song. I knew about Cold play but had never really listened to them (this was years ago) and I heard someone auditioning with it. I looked it up and heard the original and then I found Coldplay singing in São Paulo and I fell in love lol. Love that damn big bell 🔔 . Back to Bryan who did an outstanding job! I loved his performance of this song: I only wish it was longer!

He was there because he sang Phil Collins. It was okay but it lacked pizzazz and it didn't say "I wanna win this" the way that Nathan's performances tell us he's going for it.
@@dashriprock8596, I agree with you. I praised him for the challenge, and it was not a typical song that he would sing. As soon as he was finished with the performance, I took a deep breath, and wondered was it enough. I don’t have the answers as to why we’re not seeing the electrified Bryan, like we did in his audition. He could also prove that he could sing a captivating ballad. I always said “ never touch that song by Collins and don’t ever sing “Time After Time”, by Lauper.” Unless, you are all-in, and have the voice-style that takes you away from the original, and last, but not least, the rehearsal feedback is proper. I would suggest to leave those songs on the shelf. It wasn’t Bryan’s best rendition of a song. The sudden-death performance did place him in the finale, and I’m really happy with that. I hope he brings his a-game next week; a good reset is necessary. I’m also content with the final 5, as I predicted that would be the outcome.
I knew he would be there honestly as Asher, Nathan, Karen, and Josh were always going to get the public votes. Karen and Asher dominated social media. Josh is the only country male which Facebook grandmas love. Nathan was being pimped hard. Bryan does have a big social media followers though which got him the fifth spot at least. I've been missing this side of Bryan the past two weeks, and he comes back slaying.

sounding so distinct on this melody, caressing the notes. He knows where to push and where to pull back. Beautiful dynamic work, engaging the crowd into the Big notes. Such a feel-good performance.

I was surprised, as Bryan is one of my favorite voices in the competition, but this didn't do it for me. The high notes sounded forced, and he didn't hit a lot of them on point. The calling out the crowd also seemed as if it was rehearsed and fake; he wasn't into the song that much. Everything sounded forced to me! With that being said, he's a great singer, and was one of my favorites until the live rounds, when he went downhill in my opinion.
@@ZevMeth_originaljewishmusic The Live rounds is when the no longer have autotune. A lot of people say they loved a certain contestant "until the live round."
@@robertantonnyc I understand that very well. It's too bad thought, cause you would think they would only push contestants that were naturally good, but I guess the coaches don't care about that, or maybe they really don't realize the singer is off, which sounds insane to me.
I so much enjoy listening to Bryan sing. And I like this song in particular.

I fell in love with him as a power house bluesy rock not a pop classics of 1990. Great voice doesn't take that away, but he changed who he was in how he presented himself at first That's where fans fell in love with him . Go back to blue/soulful Rock God. Bow!blow our socks off !

The show is about the voice but yeah winning over. The crowd there was a bold move, but yeah most deserving in the end but i thought the girls after him gave better performances.

I am out East. However, there was some problem with The Voice app on my phone and wouldn't come up to let me vote. I wanted to vote for Bryan.
I was rooting for either Bryan or Madison to get the save. I voted for Bryan since I thought his performance was the best out of the 5.
I was in the same boat. Wanted Bryan or Maddi to win. I voted for Maddi. Her performance last night was just next level great. I think she and Bryan should both be in it still.
I expected Bryan to be saved, but I was nervous inside! 😂 Since he's not a versatile artist who can sing anything, song choice is the most important thing for him.🫣✨

I voted for Bryan and screamed so loud when they said his name. I fell in love with Kyle when he sang Coldplay, and it did me in again tonight with Bryan. This was a moving and authentic performance! Consider Creed, Aerosmith, Kings of Leon, U2. I feel he just needs to be super confident, prepared, and be authentic like this and the first performance....just saw Huntley did Creed for his finale...so maybe not

@@Ena48145 total speculation, but I felt like Against All Odds was maybe too close to home for him. I don’t have regular tv, so i just see the UA-cam clips and don’t get to watch the “packages” each week with the contestants talking. But his bio on the voice website said something about recently going through a difficult divorce. I looked around online and it looks like he had been married for over 20 years. And he’s Christian and I found an old church thing he wrote talking about how important family life and long-term marriage are to him. How no one in his family stayed married but he met his wife and all her family members were in long term marriages and he thought that was amazing and it definitely seemed like he assumed he was going to be in that situation too. ANYWAY all that to say I completely speculatively think he seems heartbroken and last night seemed to me like he still wishes he could have it all back the way it was. I bet with this show he’s getting tons of attention from women. Maybe this show has thrust him into an identity crisis he wasn’t expecting between ruminating on his old life and still wanting his ex-wife back (against all odds) vs proving to himself that he can be a head-lining star with a line of women ready to date him. I bet he did this show to help him move on and now that it might happen for him he’s freaking out and not sure if he wants to move on. PS I realize I’m just an internet shmoe who knows nothing and this is a lot of speculative detail based on nothing, so don’t come at me.
