That's awesome! First I'd suggest keeping up on drinking water. Because of the higher altitude you lose more water especially when exerting engery, like skiing or snowboarding. If going during the day wear sunscreen. Expect to fall, but don't let that discourage you. Main thing, have a good time, get some good pictures of Colorado.
@@RyRyWags Thanks! I didn't even think about sunscreen. Definitely will add that to my bag. Yeah can't wait to get some awesome pics! I'll be venturing out by myself so feel free to join me on Saturday March 6!
Yikes! For me right now its about 8 hrs. So 2 is not that bad. Ive watched a few videos and I guess Evergreen is within an hour or so of other ski areas. Night skiing look good especially on full moon
@@RyRyWags I’m snowboarding. I actually went skiing in Austria when I was 11-12 years old. I can’t keep my feet together kept doing the splits so I hopped onto a snowboard. Should’ve been more clear. I’m more talking about the steepness of the mount. I did enjoy skiing when my legs weren’t going in different directions lol
Oh I gotcha! Snowboarding was interesting, I was on my butt a lot the first day. Three days of lessons, and I was able to turn halfway decent. But I can imagine you will pick it up quickly if you already skateboard. I stuck to skiing, been doing it so long. I learned to ski in Mitterbach, Austria.
I'll be skiing for the first time ever at Echo Mountain in 2 weeks! Coming from New Orleans. Any tips would be a big help lol. Can't wait!

I'll keep that in mind, if my schedule opens up I'll let you know!
@@RyRyWags one more week! Stoked!
How was/is your time at Echo Mountain? Hopefully you had a great time there, and in Colorado!
Is this near Evergreen Colorado?
Yes it is about 30 minutes from Evergreen, and about 17 miles. From Idaho Springs it's 30 minutes, and about 11 miles.
Wow thanks. Im moving to Evergreen shortly. Its good to know this is close by
I wished I lived closer to a ski area. For me it's about 2hr drive for the closest ski area.

Do you know there night ski hours?
Echo Mountain night ski board hours are Wednesday - Saturday 4:30pm - 9:00pm. I just checked their website, it was $30 for the night skiing.
Is it April 12th? Is this RyRy Wags?
是的,這是超級棒的傢伙! 🤺 LoL 🙂
I’m a beginner going sat think I can handle it? I skateboard and ain’t no pussy
I think you'll get the hang of skiing pretty quick. Yes you will fall, but keep getting up, it will eventually "click".
