I totally would commute in mine... but a parked velomobile seems to be an idiot magnet, and without somewhere *really* secure to park it, I just know someone would try to get in, or worse still, sit on its bonnet. Seriously - this actually happened to my first one!
I use a motorcycle cover when mine is parked. Usually people are not so interested in a large black object. Most of the time they do not even notice it is there.
It would be interesting to see a velo made specifically for commuting. External lock points, durable exterior, extra storage, good mirrors, taller than most velos, overkill lights, easy entry/exit, etc. The Orca was one I felt like was closest....or that PodRide...but it seems like will never exist. I know velo is traditionally all about aero, but some concessions for practicality, having a range of velo models from race to haul, seems like a good way to grow the market and get more people into velos
Hallo Jan, in your Video the W9 has the Lupine SL AX Headlight, but in the order form of Velomobil world, customers can only choose BUMM IQ X or Lupine SL X. Is there a missing Letter (A) in the order form?
Hi!! The mold will be ready this week for the Racehood. I am not sure which order is yours please contact dorin@velomobileworld.com he is production planning
Hello, i am designing my own paddal car. Also a reverge trike. Sorrie for my spelling falts im from the Netherlands. I am searching for a club in this theme. For bike rides and meetings and all that good stuf. But i want to join an active group. I love the velomobile Quest. I know its an old disign with aluminium tubes but not the round tubes. And that was a flaw. Nowdays they came up with a slightly smaller version of the Quest with a carbonfiber frame :o OMG that is so amazing. But that said i want to ride my own design and build by my own two hands pedalcar. And why i call it a pedal car?? Because it is 2/3 scale DAF 66 Coupe look alike but then with just 3 wheels. It's 2/3 scale anyway. And here in the Netherlands you can not ride on the bicycle lanes with 4 wheels. Greetings,, Kitty.

I'm afraid of it too... Maybe it would involve an invisible cloak (to cover).
Well there is indeed a need to have a parking spot where you work.

A cover works pretty well. There are a couple options available for W9-customised covers that fit pretty well and don't weigh too much.
Pleasing to the eye, comfortable in the mood, very good
Thanks

I like how during the commute when you need speed the race hood gets equipped automatically 😂
It is to see if people really look at the video ;-)
What are the advantages/disadvantages of a W9 over a Bulk?

I could not ride even 1 km without a visor. I really hate all the wind in my eyes and noise in my ears!
That's okay you can cycle with a hood with the visor. I personal drive always without hood
