I'm a new PS5 owner and the first game I bought was this one. Now I do have accumulated 5 million credits in 3 weeks but I haven't done this race yet since i have been grinding other tracks with less price money. I will do this one with the suggested car and setup, thanks for the guide 😀
The first car I'd buy with 1 million credits is the Gr1 Aston Martin. Its soooooo easy to win with this car, and it can be ultra detuned for the 600pp Tokyo race if so desired.
This works fine, just wasn’t clear (at least I didn’t catch it in video) that you need to adjust fuel mapping. I did the mods from video and also tossed in; racing air filter and racing clutch + flywheel. At start of race, set fuel to 6 (lean) and pit at end of lap 3 (fuel and tires) and end of lap 6 (50% fuel, no tires). Finished like +40sec over 2nd place. I left TCS on default of (5, full). I did this making several biggish mistakes. Easy money
So I did choose to buy the wet and intermediate tires, and they were super helpful, and with the help from them, I finished the race with a time of 30 minutes and 1 second
I tried racing in this car on this track, but you told me to pit on laps 3 and 6. What I should do in order to do that is set to Fuel Map 6. In fact, since it will rain, I have intermediates and heavy wets. I'm still playing this game, even if I already finished it. Here's my better and actual setup for this grind. 1. Get a Chevrolet Camaro SS at Brand Central. 2. Install the front body kit at GT Auto. 3. Install some racing hard tires and maybe some intermediate tires and heavy wets as well as all 3 weight reduction kits and buy some racing brake pads and racing discs. Get a fully customizable computer as well. 3. In the car settings, make sure you have your racing hard tires on. And make sure you have a fully customizable computer. Set the aerodynamics on the front to the maximum of 120. 4. Head over to World Circuits for the World Touring Car 700 race at Le Mans. 5. Set the fuel map to 6 at the beginning of this race. You could set the fuel map to 1, but I recommend setting it to 6. 6. Keep an eye on the MFD (Multi-Functional Display) Weather Radar. Sometimes, it will rain on either lap 2 or 3. I recommend you pit at the end of lap 2 for some heavy wet tires. If you feel like it will rain very badly, put on some heavy wets. If you feel like it will rain normally, put on some intermediates. If you feel like it will rain very lightly, just keep going until lap 3. Once you're done pitting, keep your fuel map to 6. If you are still on fuel map 1, set it to 6 immediately because you might wanna pit after lap 5. 7. By the time you get to lap 5 or 6, you will have to pit again after this lap. If you think that the track is dry, grab some racing hard tires. If you think that the road is still wet, keep the heavy wets. You could go for intermediate tires. 8. If you get hit, or just go off the track and hit something, just restart the race. 9. When you're coming up to the final lap because the Endurance countdown timer is getting closer to zero, just get a lap's worth of fuel. You could top up the fuel to the max if you want to. I recommend fueling up to the max. 10. Just keep going and try this race over and over again and repeat steps 5-10. Don't forget to give the Camaro SS an oil change and a car wash. 11. If a yellow flag comes, you must listen to it. Don't ignore it, or you will get a penalty. You don't want that now, do you? I hope this helps.
@@speedtracker9556 the lap/pit stop times are weather dependant so each race can be different. As for your point 8, you dont need to restart as there is no penalty for either of those things and you will keep your clean race bonus
Just nice the 24H of Le Mans did feature a Chevy Camaro Nascar Cup car The #24 Garage 56 nascar that they modified, raced in the 24H of Le Mans. Okay so I have a slightly better strategy than this. If you're on controller you know this car handles like shit. So instead, use the Nissan R32 you get for free as a prize car during the story mode. You only unlock LeMans and the 550k race after completing menu book 39 in the Cafe. So it's endgame content. By then if you haven't spent a penny you should have more than enough money to fully upgrade, or at least upgrade as much as you can before going over 700, the R32. Make sure to buy hard tires ans wet tires. This will save you a lot of pain and suffering as the R32 will understeer a lot in the rain even with traction control turned on. So when it rains GET TO THE PITS AS FAST AS POSSIBLE to change into wet tires. The R32 has a smaller tank so I recommend keeping your fuel map on 6 (lean) for the entirety of the race. You will need to refuel every 2.5 laps. My setup for the R32 is the following: Racing hard tires & Wet Fully Customizable Suspension: 85 on both front and rear, no camber Front downforce: 126 Rear downforce: 197 Full control computer: 100 High rpm turbo Anti lag: strong Racing Intercooler Carbon brakes. Racing brake pads Weight reduction stage 1 & 2
Plot twist: This track is not available when you start. In fact you need to play a while to unlock it. I recently created a profile for my girlfriend and she is struggling with credits. So I was thinking maybe I do a few Circuit Experience to gain credits, but I don't want to progress or set records in her profile. What I currently do is play online and get Online Time Trials competitions bronze medals. Usually, I play only one lap and I get into a bronze medal online that pays for about 250.000 cr.

GT 800, sagdena, 15 laps, about 1 min 30-40 a lap. 25 mins racing, with clean race bonus, nets you almost £750k...thank me later....that's 1.5 mil per hour, all you need is the escudo, power restricted with hard racers, fuel 6. Easy peasy, plenty of other options can tackle it also. That's the best option for events in terms of price per minute, or grinding out the last championship if you can win every race, 500k, plus the 250k winners bonus, that's 750k for just over half an hour/just under an hour. Or the 60 minute race for a million, if clean, that's 1.5million for an hours racing also.
Oldtimer are the best cars, i drive with mustang Boss 3:55 best lap, 3 rounds lean mixture and stop, 2 rounds fat mixture and stop and the last 2 rounds mixture and stop 4:26 is not god, the enemy drives 4:13 on hard Mode
Gt 800 series, sagdena, 485k for winning, extra 50% for clean race bonus...net's you about 750k (just shy of) with only around 15 * 1.30/1.40 mins/secs per lap, so about 750k for 25 minutes racing, works out better. :) 1.5 Mil per hour of racing :). Thank me later. Easy tip....escudo....fuel 6.......hard race tyres......often don't need to change them or if you do only with a few laps to go and you'd still have 30% of the tyre health lef if you are ok with a few looser late laps. Maybe only need 2 fuel stops, one big, one small.

@@ll_7eRH I figured it out, you need to adjust the fuel map. Adjust the concentration of fuel going to the engine. This setting can be adjusted using the up and down directional buttons. The default setting is 'Power' (1), but adjusting the number towards 'Lean' (higher numbers) will reduce engine output in exchange for improved fuel consumption. An estimate of the number of laps you can run at the current fuel setting will also be displayed below the meter. This may be helpful for your fuel strategy in endurance races. Install a 'Fully Customisable Computer' to view/adjust fuel consumption at events where such a setting has been activated.
You get 50% extra payout for a clean race. By clean just stay in track limits, try not to hit any other cars and dont overtake any cars if a yellow flag is up

I made a video where it takes under one hour to make $750,000 credits , and does 5 different tracks....but yes your way is $1,000,000 in 1 hour so good choice! 😅 and a good cheap car to do it in. The camaro is a very nice car anyway. I did this race in my supra race car, which clicks in just under the PP limit with soft race tyres, but im at the stage where i have alot of cars already and enough money to be extravagant 😅 nice video man! Good way to get that ca$h!
Thank U man... It was simple and 2 the point.
Happy you liked it 👍
I just unlocked the 24 Heures Du Mans race track but when I select it, I only see the quick race for 33,600. Is there any advice?
@@alexprice8376 You dont see the World Touring Car 700 ? Its the 2nd picture (going left to right) 550,000 credit payout
@@PhantaxRacing same for me only the quick race
@@PhantaxRacing i just finished menu book 38 and unlocked the track but i can only find the quick race for the 24 heures du mans nothing else
@@AhmedKhaled-c3d no option for World Touring Car 700 ?
@@PhantaxRacing no only the quick race
and don't 4get to change the fuel map to from 1 to 6 to extend you fuel range?
Oldtimer are the best cars, i drive with mustang Boss 3:55 best lap, 3 rounds lean mixture and stop, 2 rounds fat mixture and stop and the last 2 rounds mixture and stop 4:26 is not god, the enemy drives 4:13 on hard Mode
I will take a look at that car. I like doing stuff with cars that are unusual or dont get used often.
Thanks 👍
@@chriswinspear7965 yeah that race isnt bad, have several money maker videos for that track already. Only problem is that you need a 800pp car thst will beat the AI. Later on that wont be an issue, but as a starter you may nit have 1-3 mil to spend on a great car. Def a great track to use tho if you get bored doing LeMans
So far this is the best track to earn credits.
GT3 mustang doesn’t take Much tuning if u got cash
Yeah thats a great car
Does this still work? I know that they have a hard on for removing things like this because they want to force people to use real money
This method didnt use any glitches so yeah still should be ok
@@PhantaxRacing thanks bro, I will try it today.
Thanks for the video. It can be a bit daunting as a new player to gran turismo but not racing.
so why this camaro vs the zl1? Is it because of the PP rating?
Sadly I purchased the zl1 and the very next menu book, book 15, gave me both camaros so it was a bit of a waste of credits. had I known that I wouldnt have spent the credits because as a new player, they are hard to come by.
Yeah kind if. Also because its fairly fast and easy to drive
So this race unlocks several hours into the game... just find a short race with high pay and make an OP car for that track...
@@hkp30sk31 this race is the highest payout race in the game so better to do this one. But yeah, you'd have to be a few hours into the game to get this race
@@PhantaxRacing yes its still very useful. Side note it doesn't work with the next model up. It uses too much fuel
I hate it , my car keeps spinning out of control and i dont know why
rain?
@@V3RAC1TY at start there is no rain and that's where I'm spinning out
I tried this method but my car was spinning the whole time and the fuel lastet barely 2 laps
@@PaulTheuer try adding some TCS (traction control) and adjust your fuel mix to 3 or 4. This setup is designed so you have to make a couple of pitstops and this race always rains so you'll be pitting anyway
This build is awesome, but I'm really struggling to keep grip on tight corners any tuning tips to help with that.
So i bought the car, and have been spending a while trying to unlock the race. Only to find out it's a reward for the Camaro menu book's first race, and the race you mention still isn't unlocked yet.
My car loses traction easily on sharp turns, help
If you've unlocked that track you should have already made well more than a million...
The France race doesn’t pop up when your new
Since it’s a grind and I need $5M I’m using the C8 with the supercharger it’s a blast! Sure I have to put every 2 laps even on lean fuel trim but it’s fun to drive
And Id say fun is more important 👍
Earning credits is great but we also need to enjoy doing it
How do you put a car on lean fuel trim
@@itsSpecX in the display there is a sectin that shows TCS, Weather, Map etc go to the part for fuel/engine mapping.
Positin 1 is fastest BUT will use the most fuel. Position 6 uses the least fuel but will be a bit slower
@@PhantaxRacing how do you get to display where is it?
@@itsSpecX use the directional pad to cycle left or right until the fuel trim option appears in the bottom right

Fairly sure it was fuel map 4
thank you!
You dont have this track as soon as your start.. your gon a have to complete the cafe book which includes racing, unlocking cars and upgrading some of then to help you compete in high tier cafe menus so not exactly for beginners
True this guide is maybe for those who have been into the game a little while.
I do have a video especially for those players who are litterally just starting the game
"Ultimate Beginner Guide'
Yeah not sure why but, this method doesn’t work for me.
Tires and gas don’t even last 2 laps. I’ve used a Camaro identical to the one in the video, and I’ve even spent more credits to get it faster: none of that helped best I could place was tenth. The only thing I can think of is that auto break sucks: if anyone knows if auto break is so bad, it can cause like 2 min difference from the end time in this video, let me know. Thanks
Is it compulsory to buy a camaro cuz i have a car that has 611 pp like can i tune that instead?
Any car should be ok. I just chose that one as it was good value and perfomance
ahh okay bro thanks ill try this out
No idea what I’m doing wrong, at the end of lap 2 I need a fill up of gas.
Me too lol
@@ll_7eRH I figured it out, you need to adjust the fuel map.
Adjust the concentration of fuel going to the engine. This setting can be adjusted using the up and down directional buttons. The default setting is 'Power' (1), but adjusting the number towards 'Lean' (higher numbers) will reduce engine output in exchange for improved fuel consumption. An estimate of the number of laps you can run at the current fuel setting will also be displayed below the meter. This may be helpful for your fuel strategy in endurance races. Install a 'Fully Customisable Computer' to view/adjust fuel consumption at events where such a setting has been activated.
is this method still viable today? havent unlocked the track yet... great video btw
As long as you have a high enough cafe menu rating (39 I believe) then yes this still works fine
Doesn’t work for me. Have to refuel every 2 rounds. Speed is not as fast as shown in the video. Maybe patched?
Could be, been a few patches since I made this.
Try playing around with the fuel mapping
Same here Im consuming half a tank every lap
Damn , got the Bvlgari Aluminium VGT wish I seen this before
Im fairly new to the game, can someone tell me how he won 825k even though when he chose the race it said 550k for first place?
You get 50% extra payout for a clean race. By clean just stay in track limits, try not to hit any other cars and dont overtake any cars if a yellow flag is up
I use the logitech g923 and couldn't control the car lol...why do you have the downloaded so high...I use the gp4 viper she's not as angry as the Camaro
The down force so high
Can't spell today lol
The download is just my personal pref, I like a very front end twitchy car.
Just adjust the setup so it suits you. Just remember to keep and eye n the PP to make sure you dont go over the limit
Do one half hour lemans race with pretty well any 700 car and you get 800+k credits lol.
@@Igoriann thats true and the LeMans race is the best money maker in the game. However, LeMans is also the last track you open and it takes a while to get to that point
Dang I didn’t watch the in time I got the corvette red one by that one
I just unlocked this circuit but I don't have this race. How can I get it?
I was wondering why you didn't recomend a Turbo charged car over a NA car. Would it be because of the starting horsepower already. I was wondering could you buy the faster Camero ZL1 1LE with 649BHP, or not necessary.
Yeah im thinking that too no offense to the creator tho he really helped me
You forgot to show where to buy the second this?
Oops my bad. Will add that info to the description.
Thanks
Wait how do I get the du mans track if I don’t have it?

how come I don’t have that car in the used car shop

Awesome thanks.
But how long till that race opens up?
It is quite a way in. I kinda realised that after I did the video. I do have another video aimed at those very early into the game. You dont earn as much but itsa good amount and easily repeatable

It maybe a bit further through the cafe menus if you dont see it yet.

You need to do some of the cafe stuff then. GT Auto comes very early
I bought the same shit he did and the ECU said full control computer. so the shit he bought for 4500 is not a fully customisable computer.
Also that race if fucked it gave me a yellow flag for passing wtf
How are you to win if you can't pass.?
The do not overtake is a real pain but dont ever overtake while its showing or you will lose your bonus.
why is it people always start at C during their instructions instead of a some even start at L or M ,,, if someone has to make a single adjustment or buy a single car then your information is useless.
