Terrence one of my 80,s idols no disrespect to Michael and prince but I feel if they were still here they would sit down with Terrence and pay him the respect which was and is long overdue he was just as musically bright as both of them hands down ☮️

Great to find this. Love TTD and Andy Roachford , and of course Stevie Wonder. Terence put out great music after The Hardline , Neither Fish Nor Flesh , Vibrator , Symphony or Damn, bought them all , and still play them to this day

Terence Trent D'Arby/Sananda Matreya is one of the most phenomenally talented musical performers of our time, & this really isn't saying enough. The issue isn't that he was underappreciated. It's two fold. He didn't perfect his own unique style well enough, & he didn't seem to be a team player, which in media, is absolutely essential. Had he had a situation like Billie Eilish & her brother have been given in their relationship with their label, it could possibly have been a whole different story; but as it was, we all missed out on what ought to have been a far more cohesive & better expression of his talent.
This interview is a treasure

I love Terence so very much. I wish we still would see more of him. A wonderful musician, singer, and poet, so ethereal, like a being from another realm. I found the interviewer very annoying, forgive me. He constantly interrupted and interjected, although I understand he had to translate, but I wish he could have done it differently. I don't know who Mr. Roachford is, but of course, Stevie, a master and a genius, and very sweet and eloquent here. Thank you for the upload.
Roachford is a British soul singer- bit more mainstream r & b/ pop back in the day. Not bad, he is in Mike & the Mechanics now. TTD/SM is an artist though, blazingly talented.

I don’t see that. The French have their own mannerisms and often come off as “rude”, but they are often just being blunt and shooting from the hip. I like them, they are a “no-bullshit” kind of culture.
Worth watching twice. Not just Stevie, but Terrence. Andrew didn't get much airtime.

Terence didn't get the notoriety or fame he should have. Intelligent, creative, talented, sexy, and that voice. Sign your name and Wishing well are his claim to fame. Could have done so much more. Sad he didn't go higher. But, nice to see him looking good and healthy in his later years.

As nice an interview this is, the interviewer shouldn't translate to French after every sentence. They should have had some translator there stand by and translate on the go through subtitles. Display the subtitles on a screen for the audience if they need it. It's disrupting the flow of the conversation.
But besides that, Engish isn't the hardest of languages to understand or learn.
