The camera team did an outstanding job. It was nice to hear Shea Adams speak up, and tell us that all of the drivers on the track in GTP had each won the Rolex 24. Awesome.
Is Jeremy using a different microphone? His voice sounds so much clearer in this broadcast than it does during the races I've watched over the years. His natural voice is challenging for a mic to pick up clearly, and the mics they give him to use have never been up to the task IMO. (I'm a sound guy.) This one is much more sensitive to mid- and high-end, which is needed to bring out a voice like his with clarity (and coincidentally that's often how the cheaper mics sound). Hindy has always used mics that suit his voice (which is always clear, no matter what mic he uses), but I think he's more of a professional broadcaster, while Jeremy is more of a racing nerd. (I say that with total love for Jeremy Shaw. I can't imagine watching IMSA races without him!) It could just be less engine noise during qualifying, I dunno. (I don't usually watch qualifying races.) Whatever the case, I like what I hear!
IMSA - A suggestion for the GPT class. How about decreasing 30 kg of weight in cars from 1030 kg to 1000 kg. And increase power by 30 hp from 670 hp to 700 hp. It would increase performance and be easy to EQ with BOP.
Amazing track, amazing cars great BoP unlike WEC. But guys could you use information panels like sector times, driver live speed and live time like WEC or F1 in your information panel ? That's the only downside of you comparing to the WEC.
this track is perfect for racing supercars & hypercars 👌 9:38-9:44 wisconsin driftin that rc f gt3 sounds like a v-lmdh or a nascar car gotta love those sausages on that speedville bridge after seeing gtd, gtd pro, lmp2, & lmp3 cars sliding, the gtp cars looks like they’re on rails & have glue on their tires 😄
