I built my home in Mexico with this material for several reasons. Fire resistance, wind resistance, thermal, seismic and termite resistance. It is the most comfortable home I have ever lived in by far.
I am ready to build my house in Mexico with this material ( Jalisco). By watching all the videos from the company ( in Spanish, which, furthermore helps me learning Spanish 😂), it sounds pretty easy to build it. My main concern, as I am in the countryside and off grid, is to find a team at least to follow the (mine) instructions. I will contact the company soon to ask for referring me to contractors.
Great work. I need 2nd part of the video. I have done Ms on this innovative construction. I simulated the laboratory model with the one created in ABAQUS.
solid concrete jambs and lintels seem like a thermal bridge after the EPS is melted back. This would likely be an issue in northern states. How is this detail addressed? Thx

Hi. What about cold bridge that is made by the horizontal metal bar connecting the inside and outside mashes? If it is -15 degrees outside and +20 indoors condensate is bound to appear, probably inside the panel itself.
Congratulations! Could you tell me the technical specification of the tool that appears in the eleven minutes of the video: manufacturer, model, etc. Thank you very much.
Hi, Please let me know which part of the technical details you want to know to our email gd@epsole.com ? We will send it to your email. Thank you. Herry;
wow great job and great tutorial there. i just wish that you've shown how you finish it with concrete. great for diyers wannabe like me. thanks .- viewer from the Phils.
Thanks for your questions. The pneumatic connection is faster and stronger than tying wire. This does not change the final strength of the building, but is useful to keep the wall straight during the construction process. The size of the rebar is dependent on the height of the wall and determined by the engineer.
Thanks for your question. Because the EPS is eventually covered by concrete, structures built with this system will have at least a 2 hour fire rating.
Its better to place rebar(starter bar outside the panel, outside the wire mesh, because if you place the rebar beside the styrofore, once there's an earthquake it will make the wall unstable because the concrete didnt grip the starter bar tightly because of the styrofore...
They torched the foam around the starter bars so it’s fully encapsulated by the concrete and a structural connection. Placing the rebar on the outside of mesh would be easier to install no doubt but then mortar has to be much thicker to cover outside rebars (1/2” rebar plus 1-1/2” concrete = extra 2” of concrete/mortar on entire wall. Versus just a little bit of extra concrete where foam was burned out
Awesome video! But Why don’t they just make a deeper U-mesh so you don’t have to burn/cut/snap/pressure wash the foam out around openings in the wall???
I have a question Sir. Is it 100% safe. What if the styrofoams will be infested by termites inside the walls. Will it be still safe? Yes termites can go thru cement walls that is base on my experience. Will it be still strong? What will happen to the wall?
they can go through concretes too man. Even to its tiniest hole. Concrete cement is not perfectly intact. When earthquake occurs it leaves crack marks that's the time they can penetrate to come inside.
The thickness is accounted for in the initial design. If a structure was designed with another system in mind, it is necessary to have the engineering redone to look at the need for additional reinforcement and alignment.
This seems like a nice system, but I don't think I would want concrete walls inside. I don't see fasteners for wood or sheetrock. For affordable and quick building it looks nice.
Wood screws aren’t gonna work with these. But lots of ways to anchor wood to concrete. Faithful ol’ Cat dick: drill hole and then a wood screw with a piece of tie wire. Nail with wire works too. Tap con, red head…
I know your comment is 2 years old, but my thought is could always build an interior 2x4 wall with drywall with a wider stud spacing since its not structural
no need for a termite shield at the slab, because we should add the concert between the mesh and foam and the surface of the mesh,if you are interested in this area, pls check our website:www.hbhscn.com/vertical-3d-panel-machine_p54.html, we professional produce these goods for many years.

What was the cost difference vs bloque? Did you also use a steel structure ?
What's the cost ratio compared to brick and mortar blocks?

On the opening where you cut/burned 4" of foam out, why not just stop the wall panel 4" shy and use a U mesh that extends 4" further down the wall?
Very interesting watching from KSA
will it withstand a super typhoon? in Philippines we experience typhoons up to 300 kph sustained wind.

Drilled 3-4 inches into the concrete, pour some epoxic resin there...
@@americoapoloramirezramblas9277
Thanks.
Should blow out holes with compressed air prior to epoxy
I reckon it's easier to cut the panel 4" short at openings and put u-mesh to make the bond beam. No shagging around getting rid of styrene...
awesome demo Sir, I would request you to please continue the demonstration until its completion.
Nice video I learned a lot from this, thanks...
Great video!
Any way you can tell us more about the pneumatic gun?
