@@shekenkordon Glad the video was helpful! most of the cuttings are doing fine, and looking healthy. Might do an update when they're ready for transplanting. Thank you for watching!

Nice video ❤. I have a question. Seed grown plant will grow big faster or cutting propagated ones?

Will they grow roots on cup of water when I cut it?

May I ask why you clipped the "foliage" off that 1 in the little pot- the piece you were propagating?
Does that stimulate more growth or cause them to focus on growing more roots?

Foliage was clipped for 2 reasons:-
1.) When growing plants through cuttings, we should aim to minimize transpiration (i.e. loss by evaporation of water through the pores of leaves.). So we aim to minimize transpiration while at same time leave behind just as minimum leaves so that the cutting can perform photosynthesis.
2.) Not just leaves but an entire node was cut off, this was done to make it grow bushier by sending off more shoots, than rather making it tall and lankier and thereby weaker.

Hi! May I ask about how many months does it take for the plant to grow from cuttings? And will seeds be faster than cuttings? thanks

Seeds are a Lot faster than cuttings. The seed can germinate in weeks, maybe even days. The cutting will take you a lot longer.

I’m growing them by a windowsill so I’m just wondering if its fine to “prune” them to a height and be able to still grow flowers?

Pruning is not a problem at all! especially if it's established. It promotes new growth, and keeps everything manageable. I prune about twice a year, sometimes more if necessary.

Do you have any spare seeds you can send me? I am in Florida.

Hi Dade - I'm based in Hong Kong, and I don't really do seed shipping, especially overseas. However I did a quick search online and there are a few independent nurseries that sell a pack of seeds in the States for about 5-10 USD so you should be in luck.

i just started with planting, and it's my first time to repot a Butterfly pea flower, but after a week, the leaves are turning yellow, is this because of too much water? sunlight? or why?

If the soil has been constantly wet since it's been moved, give watering a break for a few days. Don't let it go bone dry, but not over-saturated. If it's in the sun a lot and it's still quite young, give it a few weeks in mostly shade with only gentle sun in the morning or afternoon to help it establish. Eventually they can handle full sun. But you do want to avoid over-watering especially when they're young. Hope this helps.
