I am 81 and worked until I was 80 when my husband went into the hospital. I was with him there in a different city for 11 months when he died. I was a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and earned a Masters Degree at 50. I love your videos just as they are. Thank you. Love you both.

Great advice. My 97 year old mother enjoys watching you. Unfortunately, she insists on doing more than she is physically capable of. Her mind isn't what it used to be, and she'll wonder why she doesn't feel well when the reason is simply having done too much. Our minds tend to fool us into thinking our bodies are capable of more than they are. Getting older, not for the faint of heart.

Your videos are such a bright spot in my day. It's a little later on the east coast that I'm watching this. We are experiencing terrible thunder storms, but thinking of the poor people in the south and mid west with the tornados, lightening storms, this is nothing .
I'm so grateful for all the veterans and their families for their sacrifices for our country. I'm a mother of a wonderful guy who sacrificed so much to serve in Afghanistan. His father was a veteran too, along with my brother. It is a family tradition that is one to be proud of.

I’ve had opportunities to find a companion but just didn’t care to do so. Life oft is a challenge being alone but always lifted in positive ways. God is good! Aren’t our children great !! Dearest Nanny, you have no idea how inspirational your videos are. I am 80 going on 81 this October, God willing. I’ve been relatively active in my life and had a healthy life, until three years ago when I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. I’ve been through a lot but faced it pretty well with my faith in God 🙏🏼 and with the loving support of my children and grandchildren. They have been through all of it with me and helped me immensely. I have three children, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. I am in remission now but chemo does a number on you and my body is still feeling the affects of it. I am told this will get better in time hopefully when all the chemo is out of my body. 🙏🏼
Your up and at ‘‘em attitude gives us older folks a little boost! My best friend, one of your followers, recommended your channel to me and I’m recommending it to my people. Thank you for being such an inspiration to us. You are and have been a wonderful role model. You and your Moosie take care! 🙏🏼🤗❤️

You are an inspiration to me. I'm 69 and sometimes I get a little frightened to be aging but watching you makes me realize that there is no fear in aging. Your cottage is so charming and your patio looks so inviting. What a wonderful summer you will have and you are so blessed to have such a loving, big family. As to what content we would like to see, I think what you have been doing has been fantastic.
Retired 77 year old who worked 45 full time years as a Nurse in a Hospital. Enjoying my life now traveling, being with Family and Friends sitting on my swing and visiting with neighbors. I go to exercise twice a week and love to go to the Library. So many things to do to enjoy life. Keep going life is short.

I am 85 and I tore my meniscus in both knees. I am in constant pain so I am thinking seriously about surgery. Just brought my husband home from the hospital with internal bleeding. You give me hope and encouragement. Thank you.
Try rubbing castor oil (or wrap a castor oil pack) on your knee every day or sleep with it on your knee knee every might. Have no idea why or how it works but it certainly does work on my shoulder and did work on my knee!
Oh,Joyce….I am so sorry….i was able to rest and stay of my knee for awhile.without surgery….because of my bone on bone knee arthritis….stay strong.❤️

I’m with you Nanny on simplifying our lives. Best advice is to have a Dewy younger look rather than a Mat face finish and yes, makeup really helps women look younger as long as it’s not over the top.

Just a note to let you know that I enjoy watching you and sharing your experiences at this stage in your life. I, too, am 86 years old and agree with so many of your ideas. My husband and I used to watch and could identify with so much of what you talked about. He passed late in 2022 and I had been his caregiver up until that time. It has been pretty emotional for me watching the two of you, but I believe it has helped with the grieving process. Your plan to simplify sounds wonderful. May God continue to bless you and Mookie.

Nannie, Thank you for your down to earth reality! I love it. I'm 90 years old and for me it's now about what's real and what's really truly important, which boils down to my family and friends and taking care of myself. You asked viewers to give you ideas for future videos, and I was thinking about one of the things I'm learning to let go of, which is "perfection". I've lived much of my life trying to be perfect - the perfect child, perfect student, perfect wife, perfect mother, perfect homemaker, perfect hostess - you name it. Only now am I realiziing how much joy I may have sacrificed for that. I'm now thinking in terms of "good enough"! I've been a "good enough person", I was a "good enough" mother, my presentation at work was "good enough", my dinner party was "good enough", etc. And..... the way I'm living my life now is "good enough". Big step. Have you ever felt that way?

I would like to use your analogies and self-images in a video…they do explain how aging can eventually lessen our expectations of ourselves …and yet still be satisfied and happy. As for what we like in your videos - I love when you tell us age-related things & ways to deal with them. I'm in my late 60s now, and I love knowing others have come through this age victorious! I also love when you tell/show us about your travels & adventures, or about new things you're learning. And I even love when you share your "fails." I especially love that you end every video with God bless us all. Too many are afraid to share their faith.

I am 83 pretty fit ,but like you at times do too much .We all have our health issues ,but we deal with them .i like cold weak tea and tend to drink that from my water bottle ,spend a lot of time in my garden and glasshouse ,i do have a gardener who comes in every couple of weeks to help ,but i still cut the grass myself,gets my steps in walking up and down the lawn.Its good thinking time .
My daughter lives near me I moved when my husband died. i try not to call on her for help other than an extra pair of ears when i have a hospital appointment .We all find ways of doing things that suit us .I do read a lot and like you have an inquiring mind so constantly look up information,thank goodness for the internet.

Nanny, your children are just wonderful and you guys are so blessed to mostly be close together. So nice that they can help, and I know they are happy to do so.
